To wonder if past trauma was a factor in the Renee Nicole Good murder and that, while not absolving agent, it shows ICE should select agents more carefully?

Reading this from the BBC, I wonder if the agent was suffering from previous trauma. They had earlier been in the Iraq War and then had huge number of stitches after being dragged by a car while arresting apparently a 'child sex offender' illicit migrant last March.

Thus I wonder if, because Renee Good clipped them with the car earlier(as The Times indicates), shooting at her car as she drove past was less a rational decision borne from evil and more an instinctive reaction from recent trauma with cars on the job?

This is NOT an excuse. But I wonder if it also shows that ICE are selecting traumatised agents who are too dangerous, due to this, to be in that position?

ICE agent in Minnesota shooting was dragged by car in June

The officer was injured in a separate case that also involved a car pulling away during an investigation.

But the US President is a born US citizen and not a green card holder. Plus I'm not aware of the claims you make against him- do you have any proof or links to this?

That said I have found references linking Trump and the Republicans to the sinking of the Titanic. So maybe that needs to be examined further.

https://theweek.com/cartoons/702506/political-cartoon-trump-communications-press-conferences-titanic

I said "lock him up or something". You can do that to citizens too, you know.

You have forgotten the many crimes Trump has committed? Would you like a list?

  • He falsified business records.
  • He is a rapist. Of minors.
  • He incited an insurrection.
  • He tried to pressure state officials in Georgia to overturn the election.
  • He hoarded classified documents at Mar-a-Lago after being kicked out of office and refused to hand them over.

And those are just the ones we know about. I don't know enough about US law to determine if the rampant corruption, insider trading and Qatari bribes should be included. There are also allegations that Trump was a witness to the murder and disposal of an infant in Lake Michigan.

Anyway, if he's so opposed to criminals then why did he pardon:

  • 1,500 violent insurrectionists?
  • Juan Orlando Hernández - who was behind the smuggling of 400 tonnes of cocaine into the US?
  • Changpeng Zhao - whose crypto scheme enabled terrorists, cybercriminals and child abusers?
  • Ross Ulbricht - who facilitated the sale of $214m in illegal drugs?
  • Rod Blagojevich - the corrupt former Illinois Governor?
  • Devon Archer - a fraudster?
  • The BitMEX founders (another crypto scheme enabling crime)?
  • Michele Fiore - a former Las Vegas city council member who embezzled a load of money?
  • George Santos - former congressmember and fraudster?
DdraigGoch · 12/01/2026 15:24

My above post has been hidden for mentioning digital encrypted currencies in the context of listing the many criminals Trump has pardoned.

Supreme Court just decided that the split second frame was too narrow. Not that stepping in front of a vehicle (which he didn’t do anyway) forfeits any claim to self defense.

It doesn’t supersede what I said, but does mean other factors can be considered

He did step in front of her vehicle.

Or was he standing in that road when it was empty and she drove her car into that spot and stop where he was standing?

The problem is that you’re a brainwashed MAGA trump supporter and you won’t listen to anything anyone says to you, even when it is given to you in black and white to see and read for yourself.

You don’t do yourself any favours when you set yourself into an opinion and refuse to educate yourself, or adjust that when given new information.

Renee was the anti-democratic one. I voted for Trump, Congress voted for ICE funding.

Who voted for Renee to insert herself and obstruct ICE operations? She has the right to peacefully protest, not disrupt ICE or put herself and others at risk.

Minnesota never voted for this. What happened to "States Rights"?

scorpiogirly · 12/01/2026 15:25

There was a serious risk of threat to him, in which case he was entitled to use deadly force. Whether he was standing in front of her car or not. She drove at him.

But this is why they get away with it, because so many people take the attitude of, "Oh, well, law enforcement is known for its brutality and trigger-happy officers, so the victim should have known better," instead of demanding accountability.

Playingvideogames · 11/01/2026 21:05

It’s difficult because soft, sensitive, left leaning men simply couldn’t do this job. They wouldn’t be able to deal with hardened gangsters and drug lords. They would be too scared to engage them.

So that leaves the tougher, stronger types but they are prone to being trigger happy or too enthusiastic to engage.

Ultimately it’s a totally different landscape to here, where the public have guns, cities are addicted to fentanyl, and vast swathes of cities are controlled by gangs. But you’ll get the well meaning types saying ‘they should do what our police do/our police aren’t aggressive’ etc

What a load of rubbish.

BREAKING: ICE agents rammed this United States Marine veteran’s car and put her through torture just because she was following them from a safe distance. “they said ‘have you not learned: this is why we killed that lesbian bitch’”

This is the inevitable result of Vance et al telling ICE that laws don't apply to them.

You should see the other three threads about the murder. People wonder about how the Nazis came to power in Germany, this is just the same.

The other 3 threads about this tragic death caused by a woman acting in a way perceived to be a threat you mean?

You think the nazis, who rounded up residents living legally and murdered them in huge numbers is 'the same' as immigration and enforcement officers removing those in the US illegally? How on earth can you make this false equivalence. Maybe criminals should be just left alone to do as they please, would you like that?

ICE has been rounding up residents living legally in the US. On the very same day that Renee Good was murdered by Jonathan Ross they abducted two teenage US citizens whose only crime was to have Latin heritage while working at Target. People have died in ICE custody. The conditions in their detention centres amount to torture.

Jesse Welles has a great song called Join ICE. It really narrows down who the emasculated miserable men joining ICE are. Their motivations are pretty simple- they’re willing to accept thousands of pounds to terrorise and potentially kill others so, in other words, not nice people.

The US Supreme Court says otherwise.
