The more tenuous the better.

I don’t want any of your “My mum used to clean for a famous pop star” because that turns into pages of tiresome questions and “Oh go on tell us who it is/give us a clue/no I can’t sorry”

I want such tenuous connections that nobody will bother asking follow up questions.

I’ll start.

My dog was Mr Tumble’s dog’s mum.

A friend’s nephew is Mike Skinner from The Streets.

I used to work in a call centre and once spoke to Rick Astley and Charlotte Church’s mum.

Years ago, I stood behind Gary Barlow and his kids in the queue at Boots.

Haha I worked in a call centre too donkeys years ago...my tenuous claim to fame was Mike Baldwin from Corrie.

My maternal cousins, fraternal great grandfather was one of the bin men in the film my fair lady

My husband’s former bandmate plays keyboard in Oasis.

My mate came home and saw the sex pistols having something to eat in the kitchen. One of them was seeing his sister.

I'm distantly related to former US president teddy Roosevelt via his marriage to his second wife. Or something like that.

My SoniL is descended from Robert the Bruce

I lived in a flat that was previously owned by a member of Sham69 ( a punk rock band for the youngsters amongst you!)

My friend is a cousin of Rick Astley.

My neighbour had a sexual encounter with a guy from a 70s glam rock band when she was 15. She considered contacting Operation Yewtree but was worried about the fallout.

I work at the Vets where The Yorkshire Vet is filmed and avoid the cameras like the plague.

Oh are you pixled out ? I know someone whos in one of those police programmes and they are pixled out in the rare occasion they "appear"

I was an extra for about 3 seconds in old All Creatures Great and Small episode.

Also me and some girl friends were once invited to a very posh party at a club in London and Prince William was there.

My aunt lived about 6/7 houses down the road from the lady who played bev Mcdonald in corrie

They where neighbours for about 6 months before the lady left corrie and moved house

My hyacinth bucket type aunt dined out on this for years-god knows why but she did

As a 9 year old child,I met and was very rude to David Attenborough (I was expecting to meet Philip Schofield,Rolf Harris or Jimmy Saville (!) so wasn't impressed with poor Sir David!)

I worked with both Kate Moss and Katie Price before they were famous.
I was on a TV show for 10 weeks in the 90s.
I've been interviewed 4 times on Japanese TV.
And interviewed by Nicky Campbell on the radio in the UK.
I used to regularly get emails addressed to a sportsperson who shares my name, including ones about match fixing.
I had a fag with Clare Danes while sheltering from the rain. We didn't speak except when she asked for a light.
I let Joanna Lumley take my cab. She gave me a lovely little wave as it pulled away.
Four of my exes are quite successful authors.

The exterior shots of the house in Love Actually that Colin Firth walks into and finds his wife cheating on him with his brother is my old piano teacher's house. She couldn't film inside as she was having renovation works when they were filming.

My son is well known in our county and has been asked for his autograph...only a couple of times :-)

Through his job he gets to meet some well known people.

One of his friends is the brother of a TV presenter.

My shoulder and arm were in a TV advert ;-)

I went to the same school as two famous ladies...but a few years later :-(
