The government doesn't want to ban X, it wants Musk to remove the pornification feature from Grok and X to take down such images when asked.

Facebook seems to be worse for showing me racist posts, but if you indicate to the algorithm you find these distasteful it will happily fill your feed with something else.

No. It has to remain de activated for a while (from memory when I did it) it was 2 weeks. You will be spammed asking you to reactivate it - especially if you click on any X links.

After that you should see a "Permanently deleted my account (but keep my data)" option.

ChatGPT is quite good at stuff like this, so you may as well use it. Especially if you like irony.

The thing is since Elon took over, X is even more opaque about how many "accounts" it has. Because that's how it charges for advertising. The fewer accounts it has the less it can charge.

And i know for a fact that it still has a non-zero number of fake accounts.
