To ask what was your favourite gift this Christmas?

I got 2 perfumes I’d been after but wouldn’t have spent that much myself but my favourite present was off DS2 (18) girlfriend. She got me a fictional cold case file to solve. It comes with cctv stills, crime scene photos, witness statements etc. You have to be detective and work out who the murderer is! I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever been bought!

My DCs clubbed together and bought me tickets to see the B52’s - I cried 😂

The cold case file sounds great - I remember doing something similar at school in the 80’s.

My Shark Cryoglow LED face mask. I’ve wanted one forever and have been diligently using it every day since I opened it on Christmas Day. I love it!

My yeti mug. I didn’t know I wanted one but I love it.

My son got me an oodie sleep tee, absolutely my favourite thing!

A Dyson Airwrap. My hair has never looked better. I love it.

A coat from my mother. A very glamorous going out coat that I would never buy for myself. It has a big soft fur collar and cuffs.I always buy more practical but I absolutely love it and have worn it everywhere

Iv had some lovely gifts for Xmas but actually the gift I bought myself is my very favourite. I drink from a Royal Albert bone china cup and saucer, and have a teapot, milk jug to match. I broke the teapot spout in October and I was really upset as difficult to replace. I looked on eBay every week and then the week before Xmas I saw one exactly the same size and pattern. I bought it as a replacement. I feel so happy and even smug as I pour myself a cup of tea each morning. DH said I'd never find an exact replacement but I did.

It will be between mmy book nook or my Switch game Pokemon Scarlet. I haven't yet attempted the first but I'm looking forward to it, but I have played the game a couple of times and am really enjoying it.

I got a tooth flosser, water powered. I did buy it for myself though

A telescopic flagpole. I've wanted one for ages but can't justify buying myself such a frivolity. My lovely SIL asked me what I really wanted, and voila! Been planning and sewing myself a festival flag for it since boxing day in the requested "family colours" of my DS8.

His very thoughtful and extravagant gift meant loads - he came for Christmas and we had a great time. Which was also a lovely present in itself

My ZIIP Halo. I bought it for myself in Black Friday and my family then just gave me a book to unwrap on the day because it wasn’t cheap. But I love it and it’s made a real difference to my skin.

Bought for myself, cheap as chips (I was just getting it for the free same day postage 😂)- an Oxo Y-peeler!

It’s very satisfying to use, like peeling through butter. I can’t wait to see how it does on Swede or butternut squash! Oh, the exciting life I lead…

Can a birthday present count as it's my birthday on Christmas Day? Beautiful simple silver earrings like these from DH. Much more glam than my usual Accessorize ones

Gucci Flora perfume which I didn't even ask for as I thought it was too expensive.

Also the box of random Greek and German toiletries my parents collected on their travels.

The eufy robot vacuum i bought for my partner 😆 but i also really love the primark socks he got me (genuinely, not sarcasm), theyre all really nice prints and just what id choose for myself! Also love the necklaces he bought me, but i chose them myself so not sure that counts...

The Asda dressing gown from my mum and dad - it’s super soft!!
Also the no.7 skin care from my ds’s girlfriend and my new bracelet from my ds. They spoilt me 🥰

Mine was a box of Yorkshire Tea Biscuit Brew tea bags.. got as one of my daft stocking.fillers from DH and I've never had such a lovely cup of tea, I'm hooked 🤗

Mine was my merry people Tully wellies for dog walking and the Himiji castle Lego set .

My shark led mask.

My daughter wrote me a card saying how proud she is of me, and why.

She did give me many thoughtful presents too but that was the best.
