I got 2 perfumes I’d been after but wouldn’t have spent that much myself but my favourite present was off DS2 (18) girlfriend. She got me a fictional cold case file to solve. It comes with cctv stills, crime scene photos, witness statements etc. You have to be detective and work out who the murderer is! I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever been bought!

Tickets to see The Proclaimers from DH; DD took me pottery painting. It was a lovely day spent with her and I’m looking forward to collecting our pottery after it’s been glazed & fired

I had some lovely presents but I’ve had a terrible few years with both parents dying. I’m an only child and live over 200 miles away. They both had dementia to differing degrees and it’s been hellish. I also work fulltime. Fortunate that my employer has been amazing. I have also struggled with my weight all my life and post COVID decided it was now or never. I have lost 5.5 stone, kept if off, have a very healthy BMI for the first time ever. Size 12. I am amazed and treated myself to some 501s which I never thought I could ever look good in. I’m nearly 64, but it’s true they feel so much better than chocolate tastes!

Sorry for your losses. ❤️
Congratulations on your weight loss, what an achievement. I’m 55 soon and have been overweight since my mid 30s. I just can’t get my head in the game though to lose the weight. X

New Cordless screwdriver, well, it’s a drill driver, really good one and charges quickly.

Tradesman we had in a while ago nicked my Dewalt one. Hard to prove it as he had gone from here, still text him to tell him I knew he had it and he was a prick. No more tradesman here, I’ll do it myself!!

It just has to be the right time. Be kind to yourself.
