I’ll start - people who can’t wait to take the tree and decorations down on Boxing Day (or any time during the following very few days) and ‘have a really good clean’.

2nd (this’ll be popular on MN!) - people who don’t like dogs. 🐶❤️

People who never ever eat out or order a takeaway.

Adults who get excited about Christmas (or anything) when it's ages away. Like booking a holiday for next summer & counting down the days

The people who start threads to encourage nastiness and spite are the ones who are most alien to me.

People who qué up outside shops on Boxing Day. After all the shopping in the build up to Christmas going shopping again is the last thing I want to do.

Yes, all those people struggling to make ends meet during a huge cost of living crisis are just awful.

People who plan a big party for NYE.

Tight fisted people ( not people who are genuinely just skint) people who are mean and tight!

People who think “My Family” is a funny sitcom.

People who actively dislike animals and would never own a pet of any kind.

People who think voting Reform will make the country vastly improved.

People who go to their local pub for years but only ever seem to give the other locals dirty looks in response to their polite smiles or greetings.

People who happily purchase and eat margarine to spread on toast. Then refer to it as 'butter'.

People who spend money on logo laden 'designer' labels that either are fake or look it because they're so gaudy and tacky.

Anyone who posts on these threads, knowing there’s a very good chance that what they write will make another poster feel awful, are genuinely shitty people.

The non-ironic "live, laugh, love" types.

I refuse to move from my stressed, miserable bugger lane 😁.

The tree thing. Both putting it up in November and taking it down so early. These people come across as spoilt children to me. It's silly but it makes me think of them in a certain way.

Cat people. Just cannot relate.

People who quickly queue up to get on the plane or pay for early boarding... Why??

People who enjoy cruises. I don't judge you, I just can't.

People who watch Eastenders.

I never said they were awful, just that they feel alien to me. Of course people who are really struggling won't eat out. I don't know anyone in that position. Perhaps @rememberingthem puts it better. I thought this thread was somewhat lighthearted. Obviously not.

Why would anyone feel awful because someone on the internet doesn't share the same lifestyle or interests?

I don't like eating out, and I like Eastenders, I don't think the PPs who mentioned those hate me with a passion.

People who buy Christmas wrapping paper on 27th December.
People who buy tons of handbags.
People who live for next holiday to Spain and can’t manage without having their next holiday in the sun booked.
People who talk about cleaning endlessly. It probably signals some psychological imperfection that they need cleaning in themselves.

Because these threads always start off in a somewhat lighthearted manner, and many poster means no harm at all. But they generally descend in to spite and nastiness.

People who build their image and lifestyle around what 'influencers' do
People who want to visit or live in Dubai
People who are really invested in watching a sport (I mean, I understand it in an abstract way, but it's so not for me)
People who don't seem to understand why they should care about anyone other than themselves and their loved ones

Often the behaviours of the people who are ‘alien’ to us are because of poverty or other things which the person has no control over.

People who don’t need friends because they’re “too much drama” and prefer to stay cooped up 24/7/365 with “my little family”

People who put Christmas decorations up before Halloween.

People who wear who they are heavily to stand out in a really obvious way. Loads of surgery, makeup, tattoos, piercings, very outlandish clothing etc. Nothing against them but it feels like they are from another planet at times.

I didn't know you could actually pay for early boarding. I actually got fast track boarding included on our last holiday as I'd paid for larger carry on luggage and it meant I could ensure I had an overhead compartment to store it in. I left the rest of my family to queue as normal 🤣

People who queue to get on the plane early through choice might just like to store their bags there too but personally I wait till the last minute to get on & keep my bag with me. Same with getting off the plane

I agree, I just find happiness in little things every day

I mean, I do have 2 short breaks coming up but I'm not counting the days

Just people who like a really good clean - I’m a total slut 😂
