To be sad that I’ve wasted £17 on a bottle of Bailey’s?

Bought a bottle of the chocolate Bailey’s today thinking it would cleanse my memory of downing a pint of Irish Cream when I was 14 (it was the only thing my parents had and I wanted to get smashed ) and throwing up everywhere. It did not. It still tastes like the original with a weird, very mildly chocolate aftertaste. I really wanted to like it as I’m a big fan of sweet liqueurs. Everyone else seems to adore it. I just can’t get past that horrid boozy taste!

Think I’ll give it to DPs instead.

Chocolate orange Baileys is the one! Absolutely just as you would hope!

I have mine with equal part chocolate milk, so good. Even better with a 3rd each of Baileys, tia Maria and chocolate milk

Mix it with Kahlua and Ameretto its amazing

Aldi own brand Baileys is nice. Forgot it's name. Dh bought me one last christmas and then i bought another.
He's bought me Baileys this year but i would have been just as pleased with the cheaper one.

Get some Coole Swan, far superior to Baileys. I drank Baileys (and brandy) for years but after tasting Coole Swan I stick with it. Its far fresher tasting and just better over all.

The chocolate orange one was grim. Bitter, artificial taste.

Cadbury Chocolate Liquor was the best chocolate liquor, discontinued a long time ago now though.....

I will match you my bottle of mulled amaretto. I bought it on a whim. It is too sweet and I can’t persuade any family members to share it with me.

Bailey’s is best drunk with a tot of whiskey or vodka and always on ice.

My best friend loves Baileys and she really rates the Aldi clone as good. Is £6.

Waitrose had the chocolate one for £12.50 today if anyone’s looking.

I don’t drink alcohol now and when I did I didn’t like Baileys but I used to find it tolerable in coffee, can you try that?

Yes I've tried it. It's nice but I thought it would be nicer. I had heard a lot of great things so I probably had massive expectations 😅

I don't mind the odd Baileys over a ton of large-sized ice (small bits of ice melt too quickly), but I just don't like sweet drinks. Or creamy drinks actually, so Baileys isn't a favourite

Look up the slow cooker, three ingredient Christmas cake and use it in that! 😋
