To think we should ban the term ‘globalise the intifada’

Dangeos · 15/12/2025 19:11

After the terrorist attacks in Manchester and now Bondi, I struggle to see how this term is anything other than a call to violence against Jews. We should be cracking down on it, in the same way we do other hate and violence inciting speech.

Will they be deleting this one:

“Between the Sea and the Jordan [River], there will only be Israeli sovereignty.”

from the Likud charter then?

Show me where Jews are going on marches and chanting that in the UK.

Obviously calling for the death of people because they're jews is vile, barbaric and unacceptable. Acting upon it even worse.

That's not what the intifada means though.

Talk about being deliberately disingenuous. That wide eyed "Oh it's not what it means" when you know full well that that's how it's used.

How would Manchester or London police have any jurisdiction over the charter of a political party abroad?

It’s just a differently angled manifestation of the antisemitic trope that all Jews are one big block.

I've been on lots of marches against antisemitism in the last 2 years. They are notably rubbish at chanting and you never hear anything remotely like this!

WestwardHo1 · 17/12/2025 17:41

They don't realise or factor in that some Jews will also be critical of Israel's actions in Gaza

They don't want to.

Good luck with your post staying up, given your last sentence. They will be all over that. I agree with most of your post but not your take on the Intifada meaning. I remember the idiot from Oxbridge who thought he was being clever chanting Gaza Gaza make us proud put the Zios in the ground. Luckily that little twerp had the shock of his life when arrested for hate speech. There can be no wiggle room for interpreting well embedded hate speech.

Yes. Nonsensical. Its like assuming all British people align with one of our political parties - and there are more parties in Israel of any electoral significance than here.

I don't know, do people in the UK generally scream that in the streets every Saturday?

TheaBrandt1 · 17/12/2025 17:51

It’s like a worse version of Europeans resenting us for Brexit - we didn’t vote for it or endorse it but we’re stuck with it in our name.

I know I'm playing it risky-but I stand by my question.

The Yookay was better without all this shit. It was safer, happier, healthier and we didn't have blasphemy laws being shuffled in through the back door.

I love the fact that that little twerp got taken down-he was despicable and it's horrifying to see young people being radicalised so much by this whole thing. I hoped the Free Pally crap was just another bandwagon for the college kids to pretend to care about to be popular and feel important-but it seems to just be snowballing.

It's an unusual alliance, too. One that's been fairly amusing to watch these lefties wake up and realise that the Muslims that they've made their "allies" are a lot more socially conservative than they realised 😆

As for my take-it's what it's interpreted as meaning on Google-and there are different takes on its usage-however, I do agree that there can be no tolerance for it given the fact that some, even many, use it to mean something rather hateful, antisemitic and could be taken to be encouraging violence.

Fair enough

On the day that Bondi beach shooting happened, the usual crowd were out at large in Birmingham. There were men covering their ugly mugs with greasy tea-towels and dancing in celebration in a Manchester train station. People speeding in their cars waving the Palestine flag.
This is disgusting, and yet, our society permits it because it comes from the "sacred cow" of the West-Islam. No other group would get away with this. On the same night as the Bondi Beach shooting, Jews were targeted at a concert or event, I believe, by crowds of these people in Amsterdam. It was awful to witness, and could have easily turned very violent.
Across the West-we don't just need to look at chants-we need to look at sections of our communities and be wholly honest with ourselves-wasn't it just better when they weren't here?

It's dreadful isn't it. They shouldn't get away with it, and currently they do. It must stop and action must be taken. As you say 'no other group would get away with this'.

It really is awful and it's galling to see it and nothing being about it.

I remember back in October when Aston Villa were playing Tel Aviv Macabi-the Jewish fans were banned under claims that they would be violent. In actuality, it was over fears of the Muslim crowd (despite many not even supporting Aston Villa) would get out of control of the police. 700 officers were deployed that night.

Luckily, only 250-300 men showed up to "protest" when they were promising crowds of 300,000 men. A Muslim MP was promoting this, too and is still allowed to stand as an MP.

The people that showed up to counter-protest had to be placed behind metal fencing in case it got violent. The football team had to travel in the same bus as the Aston Villa team in case they were attacked.

The best thing about that night was the Aston Villa fans coming out and chanting "Stick your Palestine up your arse!" that was amusing.

It's clear the police and other authorities are scared of this community. So, they bow down to them. Let them get away with stuff no one else would. But this is just emboldening the worst of them.

I, for one, am sick of hearing about foreign conflicts and sick of the whole fucking thing. Once upon a time, we didn't have to deal with this shit and didn't have to have bollards of peace around Christmas markets or armed guards manning them, either.

It just pisses me off at this point.

The Aston Villa fiasco was another kick in the teeth for Jews, especially how senior police officials put words into their mouth. Lying just so a hostile community could yet again be appeased.

Kingscallops · 17/12/2025 18:54

Why am I not surprised.

It's a bit like saying the Klu Klux Klan weren't racists - they were just an innocent wholesome group of men that proudly wanted to show off their laundry skills on how clean their bed sheets were.

Sorry no one is buying this bullshit - the Bondi Beach massacre is what happens when these chants are put into reality. Anyone chanting it needs to arrested and if found guilty then sentenced, criminal record and have their passports taken away.

Dangeos · 17/12/2025 20:40

its great that the police are now going to crack down on this phrase. It’s long overdue!

You’d think that the pro Palestinian marchers would be able to come up with a way of chanting for peaceful sanctions on Israel (as that’s what they claim they’re doing) without invoking a word synonymous with bombings and terror (intifada). The fact they’re unable to do so seems pretty damning.

It is absolute bollocks. Jews aren't the ones leading hate marches, with chants inciting racial violence and terrorism.

Jews are loyal to the country we live in, and we respect the laws of the land.

Of course not. Most people know that it’s bollocks. Idk why those posts are thought to be useful.

Teddleshon1 · 17/12/2025 21:09

It’s been recorded at a number of the pro Palestinian hate marches held in London and other cities since October 7. It’s often tacked on to “from the
river to the sea”. It’s really not hard to find videos of this.
