Fed up of hearing about all.the drinking posts on here.

Let's hear if for the people who dont drink or dont drink much and dont want to be pissed up all the time or live with drunks and all the hell that brings.

Myself and Mr NC Nelly.

Drink alcohol rarely.
Like Tea, coffee, latte, cappuccino, soft drinks and orange juice.

Orange juice/lemonade
Lime and Lemon.😁

Never needed alcohol to enjoy ourselves.

My mother in law doesn’t drink much. The odd glass of fizzy wine at a wedding is pretty much all I’ve ever seen her drink.

I have a few friends who rarely partake.

Most people I know drink sensibly and moderately, with the odd blow out now and again.

I enjoy a drink but I drink less than I used to. I enjoy beer and usually opt for one of the really excellent low alcohol options that are around these days when I don’t fancy being pissed.

Got botivo today. Strong vinegar smell. But I did enjoy it with soda and a slice of orange.

NorWouldTilly · 16/12/2025 20:20

I think that may be why I haven’t bought it - I always have apple cider vinegar in the house, anyway. (Usually Willy’s - because the combination of the words organic, probiotic, raw, unpasteurised, regenerative renders me incapable of resistance. Hmm)

Was it worth the money, @Bayroot1?

Bayroot1 · 16/12/2025 21:02

@NorWouldTilly not sure really? I doubt I'd rush to buy it again? I might see if I can make something myself with herbs etc? I've seen some recipes.

I have realised over the years that I can't really drink 'moderately '. Seeing as alcohol is a drug and highly addictive substance I feel lots of people struggle with this as well. I was sober for 4 years and it was brilliant. I stupidly tried to drink again and got back into bad habits. I'm sober again now and loving life. Nearly two months now. I love tea!

I don't drink alcohol really. Maybe a very small amount occasionally. My ex1 had serious issues with drink and he made my life a living hell until I left him. I have no time for drunkenness now and once happily left ex2 lying out in the rain all night after he got wrecked with friends during a camping trip. Play silly games get silly prizes and no you're not pissing or throwing up over my sleeping bag thanks.
