Evri are lying about attempting to deliver my parcels

I have four or five parcels that are with Evri at the moment. I keep getting notifications to say they’ve attempted to deliver them but it’s been unsuccessful and there’s now one thats being returned to the sender because they’ve “tried” three times. I can see on the doorbell camera that there’s nobody even coming down the path at the times they state they’ve attempted delivery. As a result I’m going to miss out on a load of Black Friday discounts and I’ll have to pay full price, plus I’ll be without dresses etc for my Christmas parties.

AIBU to raise complaints with each retailer and ask for discount codes to bring it down to the price I would’ve paid?

I get this fairly often but if I haven't specially paid for a guaranteed delivery time I let it slide. I know the couriers aren't on a great deal and to be fair they are all otherwise excellent for us in terms of leaving packages sensibly and safely.

I live in the sticks though so appreciate bringing a parcel just to me could be a 45 minute round trip from the nearest town. I don't expect a delivery at 9pm but if they have to say attempted to keep their ratings good it's not a problem.

It hasn’t been a problem for us but I’ve read comments on the community page about people having the same issues so you’re absolutely not alone.

They just leave parcels on my doorstep which is nuts as I’m in a terrace so the step is basically on the pavement. It’s a reasonably safe street, but even so…
If I know a company uses evri I won’t order from them.

My neighbour thought her parcel was stolen off her front doorstep so I checked my cctv for her. The DPD courier took the parcel to the front door (not her specified safe place) faffed about with her recycling bag trying to use that to "hide it", gave up, picked up her parcel and put it back in the van and drove off. She had a nightmare retrieving it because he had said it was delivered.

Well after TWO HOURS to Amazon, finally got a refund and replacement of one item. The other item is impossible to get though.

The amount of circular crap they came out with was unreal.

Who has time for this bullshit?

Do you REALLY think I'd argue for two hours if we'd had the parcel???!
