Shitty note from new Neighbours after moving in

We moved house on Friday - have had a hectic few days trying to sort things and have this week off work thankfully.

There is one bathroom in the house and this is upstairs at the front of the house which faces our driveway. Next to the driveway is a neighbours house directly opposite.

The seller has taken all blinds out of the property as is their right and we’ve spent today putting some new ones up, including in the bathroom.

Yesterday, a note got put through our door:

”Get blinds for your bathroom, we don’t want to see you having a shit”

The window is frosted but I assume at night with the light on you can see in.

This was obviously from our neighbours opposite. AIBU to say they went about this in a rude way? They could have sent a politer note or knocked on the door.

I would now never put up blinds on principle. It's lovely to have sun on your face while doing your business

Neighbours opposite did up tgeir house and put new double glazing in. You could see in the bathroom when they had a light on. They found it highly amusing when they looked at it from my bedroom as it hadn't occurred to them that they'd need a blind and they wondered why the dglazers hadn't pointed it out to them.

Could be me. My DH pointed out to me today not to shower with the blind up as neighbours could see - they should be so lucky to see my fat arse 🤣 Ignore the note, they'll get over it.

Also bit ridiculous of the previous owners to take a bathroom blind tbh

Keep your dignity and ignore the note. People like this crave attention and crave power over others. Don't let them think they can influence your behaviour. They will hate it that you consider them irrelevant.
