Actually @RampantIvyI'm not cross in the slightest! I’ve had a lovely morning, I’ve been running, walked for miles and done a decent amount of training. I’ve just got in for a cup of tea before plucking two brace of pheasants and more dog training.
I don’t believe anywhere in my posts I said I preferred being warm - I love the log burner being on because it makes the house look cosy and I personally find there is something almost primeval about the innate need in some to ‘hunker down’ for the cold weather - obviously not something everyone shares. The things I love about winter aren’t the base fact that the temperature is x degrees - that is over simplifying it. I love winter because I love the feeling of being freezing cold and coming in to warm up. I love cold frosty mornings for the feeling of them and the look of them. I don’t like summer because I’m bloody prone to sunburn and personally find the endless hot weather boring.
Winter is my favourite time of year, for a myriad of reasons that cannot be stripped down to ‘it is 8 degrees’.
