It's just perfect. Bloody love winter approaching, dark nights, icy cold air, and especially rain. Gorgeous.

I'm lucky in that I love the turn of the seasons, and then the new season. And just when you're getting sick of it, a new season comes along!

I love it too, so much better than hot weather, for me.

I love the snow but hate that I have been juggling childcare due to school closures and work with nobody happy!

Did manage a lunchbreak sledge which cheered DS1 up!

I don’t mind the temperature itself but hate driving in icy or snowy conditions.

You’re being out out there with no supplies though. No snow gear allowed.

You should read the "I hate summer threads" - so much venom, hate and resentment on there, and most of all, anger.

OK, but then you don't get any water or shade on a 30 degree day in summer. And you have to let your children go down the metal slide.

Yeah I love this cold weather as well. I love wrapping up warm, going out in the cold, then getting home to a warm house and snuggling up on the sofa with a cup of tea and a blanket. Lovely. I love British seasons.

Love it. Love wrapping up and feeling the bite in the air when I’m outside, then getting home and being all cosy with the heating and candles on… heaven!

I’m loving it! Got all the winter coats out this morning, hats and gloves.
Had the heating on all day, DP has actually said he’s thinking of getting a blanket for himself on the sofa, never thought I’d hear that.

Im enjoying the walk to and from work in the dark, it’s so peaceful. Hoping it gets colder and this isn’t it for the wintery weather

This time last year I would have totally agreed with you….fast forward 12 months, I’ve finished my menopause and lost 3 stones in weight and I am constantly feckin freezing !!!!! 😂

Can't wait for summer. Autumn has dragged on and on and now this 😫 I hate scraping ice off the car for school and work run.

DH is terribly underweight due to health issues and is really struggling with the cold weather. He loves walking, but it is just too cold for him now.

I am currently without a boiler so not enjoying it 😭

I love it too. I live in the west of Ireland where it’s nearly always raining, it’s lovely to have a few dry days even if it’s very cold. Back to the rain tomorrow 😭

If I could afford to run my heating for more than a few hours a day I would be fine with it but I feel sick with anxiety about the cost of it all. Plus I really need a new front door as it lets in an awful draught but a decent new one is outside my budget. It is also really dangerous for rough sleepers and there are a lot in the city I live in

I normally don't mind it, but our boiler broke 2 days ago & we're looking at Wednesday/Thursday for an installation of a new one! Lots of boiling pans & double (triple!) Layers!

Absolutely do not like it at all or agree… this weather makes me utterly miserable! It’s freezing! ⛄️

How can you afford to run the heating all day!!!? I now pay twice as much to have mine on for half as long, an hour when I get up and a couple of hours in the evening, and it breaks me
