To get the ick over the way he treats his dog

DallazMajor · 16/11/2025 09:27

I started seeing this guy and after a few dates I went back to his place for the inevitable shagfest. 😝

Anyway I knew he had a dog - not a problem I like dogs and have one myself.

On entering his abode the dog was extremely excited and pounced at me. She would not leave me alone jumping all over me climbing on the back of the sofa, standing on my head and licking my face. I was already thinking “get me the fk out of here” but then he started talking to the dog in third person and referring to himself as “daddy”. I could practically feel my ovaries recoiling.

Dog was not calming down so we retreated to the bedroom with dog locked safely in the lounge. I thought “cool let the shenanigans commence”. Which they did. All good and previous thoughts if the incestuous daddy/dog patter were pushed to the back of my mind.

After a few hours of how’s yer father I was feeling quite smug indeed and drifting off into a peaceful sleep when suddenly “crash, bang, wallop” the mutt was released from the lounge and allowed into the bedroom. No prior discussion on this. I was then subjected to around 30 minutes of the dog jumping all over me and general chaos. The ick was resurfacing with the endless “daddy” patter and having the dog either stood on my head or attempting to lick my face.

But then the last straw occurred. The dog started to lick with vigour and enthusiasm the hands of my new beau. Hands that had not long been all over and well in my … (Read between the lines here folks I’m sure you catch my drift). All the time being ENCOURAGED by him.

I was mortified. I felt sick. I can’t bear licky pet sounds as it is but the fkn dog was licking my fanjo juice off his hands.

I made a feeble excuse about leaving saying there had been some incident at home and practically ran out of the door.

Im not being unreasonable here am I?

Please if anyone can offer some perspective here it would be most welcome.

I feel violated !

Awwww guys you don’t have to be kind to a stranger!!! You knows this already.

Your opinion on my writing style or authenticity or whatever are of no concern of mine.

Now for goodness sakes please excuse me whilst I get back to the important issue at hand. (No pun intended).

Was the dog a Dalmatian..

These types of posts turn up with tedious regularity, I can only imagine the long winter nights must fly by in the basements of these creative geniuses.

Living the dream in his mum's back bedroom.

Just reread the initial post and realising it's a bitch made me shudder slightly.....
Please just block him.

Suednymph · 16/11/2025 11:04

I am very curious as to the type of dog?

It's a dog than only exists in OPs imagination.

The initial post was very descriptive yes but honestly my ex did this too. I can see it happen. Theres a reason he is my ex.

Wouldn’t bother me but if it bothers you, dump him.

It’s not that deep.

I’m not sure. Was quite a cute dog with an underbite. Maybe a pug cross?

Im not sure the breed is all that relevant.

I was curious because it was on your head several times and I wondered if your head was larger than normal. If it was a big dog.

I refer to my dogs in the third person! I even have individual voices for them which I started doing when DDs were young so they could ‘talk to the dog’…although DDs are 11 and 13 and I still do it 😂

TBH the dog sounds badly trained.

The hand licking is grim.

The letting the dog into the bed without consultation is unacceptable (and my dogs all sleep in my bed)!!

I have voices too but I'm absolutely terrible at voices/accents so it's even worse than it would be otherwise! Even worse, I lost one of my dogs at the beginning of the year and he still talks 😳

So sorry for your loss.

My dog had a broad Bristolian accent that would rival Vicky Pollard. She's been gone a couple of years now but she's still chattering away.

FoxLoxInSox · 16/11/2025 11:33

You say you’re a dog-lover and have your own dog… yet you’ve admitted you don’t know what kind of dog it was jumping on you. Your way of describing it was ‘had an underbite’.

This is all fiction.

I am glad I'm not alone in the slight oddity of voicing my dogs! I've been known to have entire conversations with 'the dogs' (aka myself) in the car when on a long journey...

Where are you from? The thread police? Yawn, cease and desist yourself.

There's nothing more tedious than a troll hunter and you've just encouraged them all to jump on the boring bandwagon.

I have a dog voice OP. I think it's cute and fun. When I use it on my son it makes him irrationally angry so I understand that dog voices aren't appreciated by everyone. .

If it stops references to fanjo juice at 10 in the morning I’ll keep on thanks very much.

Bore off with your own thread policing love.

DallazMajor · 16/11/2025 11:55

The dog was of small/medium size.

Aside from the grim hand licking - which I do not blame the dog for she was a cute wee dog.

I’ve never known of a dog to be so excitable that it would clamber on one’s head. I was sat on the sofa initially and she was jumping on the back of the sofa and literally trampling on my head. My date seemed to think this was quite acceptable and I wonder if this kind of thing was common? My dog certainly would not behave that way. He gets very giddy but if he was sitting on someone’s head or face I would be mortified.

The whole scenario was mind blowing!
