Def a CF story. Haven’t had a decent one for evvvvver.

I was walking through town and a CF woman asked me to hold her toddlers reins while she tied her shoelace .
I airily told her "Of course , my fees are £15/hour" , she had no idea I'm not a Registered Child Minder ....

My 5 year old's teacher doesn't realise my son is the next Einstein. Him sticking that pen in another child's eye was unintentional. Should I email the HT?

This actually reminds me of a post a few years ago. English clearly wasn't the OP's first language and she mentioned the Snake Pass road in her post and the amount of people asking her if she was sure she got that correct because they had never heard of it was very patronising and quite embarrassing.
