To be annoyed that DS has "gifted us" over 1000 toilet rolls

They arrived by lorry today. We did not know they were coming. Now our spare bedroom is full of them and there are loads in the kitchen and living room as well. He said he got them as "a good deal from work" and he thought we would want them. But he forgot to tell us about it.

You have a spare room, so I bet you have a shed, a garage, a cupboard for a large number of them. Tell him to ask next time, but say thank you, give the remainder to those who'll appreciate it. And everyone's a winner.

I unexpectedly got an extra 120 toilet rolls this week.

I have taken them all to the food bank, and they were very grateful.

I know how much space 120 took in my house, I cannot imagine 1000 randomly gifted to me at all,does he often buy you bizarre presents?

I would find a home for 50 or 100 of them (depending on how many people live in your house) and give the other 950/900 back to him!

A few years ago DP’s mum became obsessed with a special offer on toilet rolls in a local chain of pharmacies. Every time she passed a branch (or deliberately engineered a visit to one) she picked up a few more packs. An entire wall of their garage was completely hidden behind stacks and stacks of toilet rolls within about 3 weeks. I wouldn’t be surprised if she still had some of them.

😆 Well with the way grocery prices are going id hold on to them! Seriously though, Id say he was trying to be a support and it was a bit of a misjudgment. That's hilarious, sure ye might use them in time. That fails, give them out as Christmas gifts 😁

I use kitchen toilet to dry the bathroom and loo after cleaning them ....use them for such as job as this

There are 36 packs of 36 rolls each. So about 1300 rolls in total.

We have already given away 10 packs to neighbours and friends and family. We will give some more away, probably keep 10 for ourselves and give the rest to a foodback or something.
