To be annoyed that DS has "gifted us" over 1000 toilet rolls

They arrived by lorry today. We did not know they were coming. Now our spare bedroom is full of them and there are loads in the kitchen and living room as well. He said he got them as "a good deal from work" and he thought we would want them. But he forgot to tell us about it.

Wheres he work? Does he know something we don't? 😂😂😂

Did he have a BOGOF offer on his BogRolls?

I obviously like being well supplied, but 1000 would push even my limits!

We need to know the quality of the paper. Imagine years of the type that disintegrates on contact with liquid 🤬

Why would you even let them be delivered to your house, you could have said no or not given permission for the delivery to be delivered. I don’t understand the thought process of letting this be delivered as it would surely take dozens of trips up and down the stairs and an extended period of time for the delivery to complete, you had ample time to think something isn’t right here. The time to act, has gone.

I imagine storing 100 loo rolls would be an issue let alone 1000. I don’t think cash and carries have that much loo roll in stock, it’s unnecessary. If no one has room in their house, you can look into storage units?

At least they don't make Izal any more!

Believe it or not, this reminds me of our wedding reception. One of our ushers ran a cleaning business and he sold some of his stock off the van to another guest. Nowhere near a thousand, but I can still picture him staggering across the hotel carpark with a tower of loo roll packages 🤣

My DH would be so happy with this - he is obsessed with toilet rolls and always insists on us having a good store of them - just in case.
I'd be happy not to have to pay for DHs loo roll obsessions for the next 5 years or so!

Offer them up on Friday to trick or treaters. Make sure you have also dressed appropriately for the event.

Oh yes! We used to call it 'tracing paper'... awful stuff. Not remotely absorbent. My mum used to send me to school with a small packet of paper tissues to use instead!

That was my first thought. Indoors though, no one wants a soggy igloo.

My dad used to ahem... "acquire" bog roll from work. Proper industrial-grade stuff. My poor anus was grateful when he took early retirement and we had to buy the proper, soft, stuff from the shops.

Hoping whatever your DS has got his hands on is better than what we used to get.
