No, you're unreasonable buying spiderman pasta
But as it's there, may as well use it.

Actually, my DH is pretty keen on Spiderman too, so nobody tell him you can buy Spiderman pasta either.

YANBU, the one doing the cooking gets to choose the meal. If anyone at all objects then that person can cook the next time.

DoubleBluff · 05/06/2008 17:14

oh yeah DH!! LOL!!

SheikYerbouti · 05/06/2008 17:14

Rofl at a grown man eating Spiderman pasta!!!

My DP would love it, esp if it had grated cheese on top.

He's a simple fellow.

HeiferMOOS · 05/06/2008 17:34

pasta on toast? really?

what sauce are you going to use?

I have never heard of anyone cooking pasta then putting it on toast....

SheikYerbouti · 05/06/2008 17:40

It;s tinned pasta HM.

So allowed.

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 05/06/2008 17:40

as a child i usually had spaghetti hoops on toast and never did me any harm

stoppinattwo · 05/06/2008 17:40
glaskham · 05/06/2008 17:40

its tinned pasta, like spagetti hoops sort of pasta comes in the same tomato sauce/juice... almost like beans on toast... though i hate tinned pasta.

glaskham · 05/06/2008 17:42

x-posted with everyone... serves me right for sneaking a bite of dd's pizza while replying!!

KatieScarlett2833 · 05/06/2008 17:42

Spaghetti with an egg beaten in when boiling hot on toast was a childhood favourite...... Katie goes off to check the cupboards for tinned spaghetti......

AH, one has heard about such a thing as tinned spagetti which one should put onto toasted bread, one has not heard about tinned pasta of the superman variety.

DOH...

bergentulip · 05/06/2008 17:47

Matters not what I put in front of DH, because he adds ketchup/mayonnaise/remoulade/sweet chili sauce/mustard to everything (all at the same time I might add!) anyway!

VictorianSqualor · 05/06/2008 17:48

Eww katie. DP likes tinned spaghetti with poached eggs and buttered bread YUCK.

OverMyDeadBody · 05/06/2008 17:48

I've always wondered, about that tinned pasta aimed at kids, are the shapes actual shapes of whatever character is on the tin? That would make sense I guess, I always assumed it was just normal spaghetti hoops so never understood the huge range of characters available.

BEAUTIFUL I tihnk if your DH can't be bothered to cook for himself she should accept whatever you feed him with a smile.

bergentulip · 05/06/2008 17:48

-- and we eat, like, ya know, posh stuff an' all...... like I say, matters not(!)

KatieScarlett2833 · 05/06/2008 17:49

Oh VS, Poached eggs sounds even better!
