To think that Sadiq Khan needs investigated?

Considering the ongoing disclosures of the extent of the Pakistani rape gangs in London and Khans refusal to even acknowledge them do we think he has bought the office of Lord Mayor into disrepute?

Thank you. You’ve made the point clearly.

It is more important to some people to not appear racist, or to not let people deemed racist to have a “win” - either a debate “win”, a political “win” or a moral “win” - than it is to deal with harm to women and girls. Women and girls will always be pushed down the pecking order when it comes to people’s moral signalling. It’s the prevailing attitude in Khan, posters here, other politicians, media organisations. It’s disgusting.

Do you think Susan Hall cares about the young girls being used in county lines in London? Given she doesn't even know what it is?

nomas · 21/10/2025 22:01

OpheliaIsntMad · 21/10/2025 21:57

No …
but we now know what happened in Rotherham and how and why people didn’t pay attention.
So I’m not as naive any moreand I’m not going to be deflected so easily

So you think it's ok for people to make accusations without any evidence about Khan as they've done on this thread?

Yes.
Please don’t think the only people who care about the sexual abuse of girls are racist…
Many of us are DEFINITELY not racist

Noone.

They make stuff up, take out of context and never ever address issues within their own community.

@nomas the accusations concerning Khan are in the public domain. In the Express series of articles, repeated by Chris Philp in The Telegraph and picked up elsewhere.

It is appaling that there is gang based CSE going on in London.

When it gets referred to as "Pakistani rape gangs" (as per OP) when all the evidence put forward so far on this thread points to criminal "County Lines" gangs, it raises the possibility that police and social services could be made to look in the wrong places to uncover offenders.

Also, isn't the allegation that some grooming was covered up in a misguided attempt to avoid the awful situation being used by racists? What would be Khan's motivation be for covering up criminal gangs?

Dollymylove · 21/10/2025 22:16

OpheliaIsntMad · 21/10/2025 21:39

Oh FFS
Children are being abused and you are only interested in throwing the “she’s a known racist” card
I don’t like racists but I REALLY don’t like people who use accusations of racism to cover up child abuse

This is exactly why these gangs were allowed to operate with impunity for so many years 😡

Very keen on naming home grown or Australian white paedophiles but gangs are a huge issue no matter what the colour and as far as im aware Gary glitter etc are sick individuals not gangs

Which brings us neatly to Wayne couzens.

Not one of the officers involved in his group chat about victims has ever been investigated.

But let's all shout at boats and Mr khan.

That's totally addressing all the concerns.

Fucking racists.

I’m sure she does. She was on a clock. Why couldn’t Khan answer her question?

Are there grooming gangs in London?

Yes, there are grooming gangs in London. We are a very large city and unfortunately this issue hasn’t escaped us. I would infer from the questioner given her history that she is alluding to whether these gangs are of a particular race. Let me be clear that I won’t be drawn on the race specifics of the gangs. It should be clear to all from the uncovering of these gangs that they are of all races. But I will also make it clear to the women and girls of London that the race of any gang will not impact any investigation by the Metropolitan Police who will pursue these gangs without fear or favour, because the safety of women and girls is the priority.

Instead, we got, “sorry, I don’t get it”.

Chris Philp, the Tory MP, writing his opinion in the Torygraph.

The same Chris Philp who asked on Question Time whether Rwanda and Congo were different countries 😂

WoollyHeadedMammoth · 21/10/2025 22:21

Why him in particular? Most politicians (including some women - ever been to Govan?) do hee haw all about grooming gangs or sex offenders of any background because girls' lives, health, and safety simply don't matter in the face of the "needs", wants, and desires of men - unless perhaps the girls have rich, well-connected parents. They should all be investigated.

PinkFrogss · 21/10/2025 16:28

Am I the only one who has noticed what it starting to seem like a targeted campaign against Sadiq Khan across various forums and social media?

@PinkFrogss sadly, it’s been around for a number of years now. A family member, who foams at the mouth at any mere thought of Sadiq Khan, was sharing videos about 5 or so years ago of an Asian man saying inflammatory stuff with a description that said it was Sadiq Khan. It was not Sadiq Khan!

She couldn't even say the word county line, she didn't know what it was.

And I don't think Susan Hall would prioritise women, given she says she wouldn't call herself a feminist, called Gemma Collins a “stupid fat blond woman”, and treated a pregnant employee badly.
