To think that Sadiq Khan needs investigated?

Considering the ongoing disclosures of the extent of the Pakistani rape gangs in London and Khans refusal to even acknowledge them do we think he has bought the office of Lord Mayor into disrepute?

Because that's the number provided by the government.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/home-offices-county-lines-programme-data/county-lines-programme-data

Khan said that London has a big problem with county lines, Susan Hall was the one who didn't even know what that was and called it 'country lines'.

Because she wanted to know if London has a grooming gang problem, not a county lines problem. Does it?

AzurePanda · 21/10/2025 21:31

@nomas yes he did say that; as I have repeatedly said he has made these allegations in face to face interviews a number of times. The interviews are available on YouTube, Facebook and X and are easily found. I have no idea why you are demanding a written transcript of his verbal comments.

Once again, it is up to the Commission to assess the credibility of his allegations.

Because you're claiming allegations have been made about the mayor and expecting to be believed without posting proof or links.

That is from the Tommy Robinson smear strategy on X, it doesn't wash here.

She's a known racist, he was clearly trying her to say what she really meant, because she is only interested in London's children in so far as she can use them to score political points.

So she’s a racist if she deliberately keeps race out of her question?

Starconundrum · 21/10/2025 21:38

NotBadConsidering · 21/10/2025 21:35

It was irrelevant to ask if Khan thinks there are grooming rape gangs in London?

Misogyny everywhere then.

Fancy blaming race instead someones actual crimes?!

Oh FFS
Children are being abused and you are only interested in throwing the “she’s a known racist” card
I don’t like racists but I REALLY don’t like people who use accusations of racism to cover up child abuse

Because she wanted to know if London has a grooming gang problem, not a county lines problem. Does it?

From london.gov:

Susan Hall asks him about grooming gangs, he replies:

Sir Sadiq Khan (Mayor of London): The situation in London in relation to young people being groomed is different to other parts of the country. What we have in London is young people being groomed - to use your word, not mine - to be used in county lines in relation to sometimes --

Susan Hall AM: OK. Let me make it clear. Sorry, I was not clear enough. I was told I should not be saying rape gangs. They are rape gangs. I am not talking about county lines [she calls them country lines], but to go back, nobody likes me saying rape gangs, although they are rape gangs. Grooming gangs, that I would call rape gangs. Tell me about them. How many of those have we got? Not county lines. Those particular groups.

Sir Sadiq Khan (Mayor of London): To avoid any misunderstanding, can she define what she means by that?

Susan Hall AM: Yes, if you look at what has gone on in Rotherham where there are people taking young girls and grooming them for sex. That is what I am talking about.

Sir Sadiq Khan (Mayor of London): We know in London there are issues about exploitation of young people, but they are not as defined by the Member in her definition of what those types of gangs are.

So he is answering her question.

No, she's a racist because she posted Islamophobic tweets about Khan and endorsed tweets praising Tory minister Enoch Powell and his "rivers if blood" speech.

He had to speak to her knowing that.

TheGrimSmile · 21/10/2025 21:44

The Daily Express need investigating.

chocolate08 · 21/10/2025 16:24

I refuse to click on a Daily Express link. I'd firstly say that you might want to consider that the Daily Express are being politically motivated to attack Sadiq Khan, and even more so when the only newspapers to cover this are also from the right, so the Daily Mail, The Sun and of course GB News. From looking at a reliable site, so gov.uk and records of questions to the mayor, this seems to have been dug up from a question asked by that great genius Susan Hall from Jan of this year. How are the facts as you see them, OP? Do you check your sources also?

Quite.

No - he needed to address her question about grooming gangs.
It was an important question- the fact that she may have been asking it for other reasons is irrelevant.
He should still have answered the question.

He did answer her question. When really she shouldn't even be allowed in the building with her racist views.

Cyril smith?

I seem to remember parliament saying questions about his sexual proclivities were not relevent at this time. Or any apparently.

And let me be clear again.

Khan has been accused of nothing. This is all racist.

It's important to see who you CHOOSE to accuse and condemn.

And who you remain silent about.

We can barely fix potholes are we really going to investigate him? Everything is weird at the moment. I just think the system is rigged against us and that our entire modern political class is so devoid of principles that to call them valueless barely scratches the surface at this point. I haven't trusted them since covid. Our government has just removed Hayat Tahrir al-Sham from its list of terrorist organisations. Do we not remember 9/11. 7/7? They don't care if millions sign a petition saying we don't want Digital ID. Boris Johnson has just admitted on camera whilst smirking that he brought in loads of immigrants mostly male ¥ to suppress wages. I read earlier in the year that convictions of Indian nationals have gone up by 257% from 2021 to 2024 for sex crimes. That's worth it for wage suppression? I guess to some it is. I found out from reading
Dominic Cummings (!) twitter that the government might let China (China !?) buy all of the water supply for London. Why aren't we being consulted? It's all beginning to feel a bit like screaming into a void. Now more grooming gang stuff. I read somewhere about drug grooming gangs. So that's more decay, antisocial behaviour and knife crime. It really feels like the British Empire, knowing its dying, is clawing inward with grimy skeletal fingers to colonise the last patch left that it can, and that patch is our own.

Thank you. You’ve made the point clearly.

It is more important to some people to not appear racist, or to not let people deemed racist to have a “win” - either a debate “win”, a political “win” or a moral “win” - than it is to deal with harm to women and girls. Women and girls will always be pushed down the pecking order when it comes to people’s moral signalling. It’s the prevailing attitude in Khan, posters here, other politicians, media organisations. It’s disgusting.
