If you could wake up tomorrow with a specific singer’s voice, whose would you choose and why?

Well if I had to choose just one singer, it would have to be Cynthia Clarey.

Though growing up (showing how old I am) I spent so long trying to copy Judy Garland and Barbara Streisand , I still love their voices.

Mine. If someone swaps mine for Whitney or Mariah I’d never speak or sing again.

Just to add to my previous list, and going in a totally different direction, I would also add Nina Simone. Anything she sang was great but this is a really good example:

I've seen an interview with her bandmates where they said (a little bit irritated with her!) that she never sang a wrong note, and picked them up on all of theirs even if only a fraction out 😉
