To think Andrew not being able to use his Duke title is just too little too late..

And the way the media is seeing it as worthy of his behaviour just shows how the misogynistic establishment wins. I bet VG was not the only girl either and the Chinese spy not the only dodgy businessman

Prince Andrew. Please give him his full name.

TankFlyBossW4lk · 18/10/2025 12:51

I completely agree with you. Also, it's an example of how risky it is having your Head of State determined by a hereditary monarchy. It could so easily have been Andrew, the corrupt menace to society as the King. The Queen made loads of rules excluding her from all sorts of things. She was apparently a Saint. Can you imagine what Andrew and Sarah would be like.

Tutorpuzzle · 18/10/2025 13:19

It’s the RF throwing a bone to the masses (ahead of Virginia Giuffre’s book being released), fully supported by establishment media.

Implying he has been stripped of his titles (as many will understand it) whilst nothing changes, trusting that most people don’t really care about child sexual exploitation.

I would prefer to see him being questioned by the CIA. Couldn’t really care less about some buffoonery title.

ohfourfoxache · 18/10/2025 13:27

It does make me wonder whether there is more to come out

And I’ll call him Andrew thanks - birthright bullshit makes me sick

menopausalfart · 18/10/2025 13:42

Wasn't he known as Randy Andy, at one point? Losing his titles is the least that should happen.

Exactly !

I started a thread on this too but happy to see others ( mine has timed out )

Ukisgaslit · 18/10/2025 13:48

@Attictroll

I like the distinction you have made here . Andrew isn’t ‘using’ his title but he still has it .
I hope the media start making the same distinction .
Yes my username is relevant here.

I do wonder if this is a spare thing like Harry and if born first they works both have ended up conditioned differently.

Ukisgaslit · 18/10/2025 14:06

Mountbatten , Philip’s affairs now coming out - there’s more to it than just the ‘spare’ issue .

The entire Windsor edifice is riddled with entitlement and abuse. Some coming out - most covered up

MoFadaCromulent · 18/10/2025 14:07

Needed the main paedophile protector to pop her clogs first tbf

This is so true and worrying. This type of absolute power leads to such corruption. We've seen so much corruption in elected officials, can you imagine the propensity for corruption if you thought you were Head of State because you were anointed by God.

I mean, you can hardly blame Andrew if he's not desperately bright and surrounded by "serfs" who do his bidding. He's every whim catered for. Why do we allow this folly.

menopausalfart · 18/10/2025 15:51

We'll look back on this age with absolute horror, one day.

LlynTegid · 18/10/2025 16:15

I agree too little. Andrew, brother of the King, should be removed from the line of succession, and as a Counsellor of State. If there is evidence sufficient that he could be charged in a court in the US or anywhere else, it should be clear that any extradition would be agreed to.

Krylek · 18/10/2025 16:25

I bet Andrew is really sweating over this one.

Is that you, Fergie?

Delphigirl · 18/10/2025 16:30

He should be extradited to the US and tried. If found guilty there should be an act of parliament to strip him of all his honours and titles. Allowing him to keep them all (but agreeing not to use them- big of him, not) and maintain living on the Crown Estate with protection, going to Balmoral and hosting shooting parties etc etc while shielding him from justice is a truly terrible look and (a) shows the weakness of the King and (b) suggests that the public should accept criminal behaviour (if that is what it was) from the Royals so long as they make meaningless gestures of atonement whilst simultaneously denying any wrong-doing.

Timeforabitofpeace · 18/10/2025 16:31

Too late, and the minimum done.

HeadNorth · 18/10/2025 16:33

It is meaningless- he’ll still make the servants call him HRH & lord it over them. That fucked up family don’t give a shit about ordinary people.

Boomer55 · 18/10/2025 16:39

We’ll still be paying for him, as we are for the rest of the entitled, whinging, home gathering lot of them.🙄

Attictroll · 18/10/2025 17:21

Totally imagine more to come. Dp when he heard the news expected Andrew to be leaving the country for some private island but no he’s literally lost his job title for a job he hasn’t done for years and people don’t want him to do. Meaningless and just shows how little the media and the monarchy think his behaviour is worth.

OP posts:
boredoflaundry · 19/10/2025 14:10

Does it actually make any difference him at this point having a title or not?
everyone knows who he his and what he has/hasn’t done and will treat him with privilege or distain based on their own opinions.

Just seems to show his big brother is treating him with the latter!

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 19/10/2025 14:20

It seems that he was complicit in the trafficking of women for sex. I know he settled out of court with VG, and perhaps there isn't enough evidence to prosecute him for anything else, but losing the right to use his "Duke" title when he remains a Prince hardly seems like much of a punishment. I'm not sure he even cares that much about the public disgrace.

I really feel that he ought to have to defend himself in court for his part in this whole sorry saga.
