How many duvet covers do you have for the bed you sleep in?

I have about 10 AIBU?

Sheets is interesting @Denim4ever I have more sheets than duvet sets!

Our mattress is really deep and it's a struggle to find ones that fit without pinging off, when I found one in Tesco that worked and it was on sale I bought about five of them.

I find that sheets wear out quicker than duvet covers, also means if something happens like I get my period on the sheets I don't have to change the whole bed, so works having more than the amount of duvet sets you have I think.

@buffybots amazing! Mine were about £100 from M and S or JL. Lesson learnt!

I find it odd to have just one or two exactly the same. It's nice to have different ones.

If you only have one cover and have to wash and dry in one day then you are making the worst job - bed making - a task you do in 2 halves. Stripping and making up being the 2 halves. Not to mention laundering and ironing, if you bother to.

Do some people only have one set of pillow cases and one fitted sheet?

We prefer to have plain ones, but in different colours that have been chosen to complement other things in the room. Neither of us are really fans of patterned duvet covers and I'd hate to have loads of different patterned ones. We both don't see the point of seasonally patterned ones - but if it makes other people happy.....

Btw, that doesn't mean we don't like pattern - quite the opposite in fact as we're both maximalists 😉 - and our pillowcases (or rather, the top pair of which we have several different Australian sets as they seem to produce more interesting designs) are patterned, but no florals currently as I'm not really a fan of those unless they're vintage or ditsy style.

In our bedroom the curtains (two windows) are patterned as is the large wool rug, plus the large lampshades on the bedside tables and the block print throw over the end of the bed, plus there's loads of colourful art/books - so no shortage of pattern!

Can't be doing with seasonal covers. Also any seasonal homeware. Supposed to have autumn crockery, mugs, cushions. FO!

Same here. Surely you’d need 2 duvet covers and pillowcase sets for each season (one on and one in the wash) - that’s a lot of duvet covers that only get used for a short period of time each year. Definitely not for me!

If you have a tumble dryer I suppose you can cope for one for each season and it would be dry the same day.

My parents have 6 duvet sets of which 3 are for spring and summer. The other 3 are autumn and winter. Not got seasonal images on them but the latter 3 are darker colours.
