Why are they even Princesses? They aren't the children of a reigning monarch nor directly in line like William and Harry.

They are princesses because they were the daughters of the son of a reigning monarch when they were born.
The children of the daughter of a reigning monarch had no such entitlement.

I really don't think he will care or understand why his titles are gone. This is normal behaviour for him and the sort of people he is mixing with.
He will just see it as some sort of act of the little people.

I have to say I think k the rest of the royals are getting of lightly. They all must've known all about Andrew and his lifestyle. They have 24/7 surveillance and mi5 must be all over them for their protection. Surely they should have not swept this under the rug the carpet for 20+ years?? Plus who paid for his settlement? Why couldn't he pay that himself? He has a tidy fortune. What else was Andrew up too? The only reason Charles is acting now is to save the family reputation.

I also wonders why they could not prove from his security record where he was on that night at 'pizza express'? Surely they keep a record of it.

Fergie is an absolute disgrace. Freeloading left right and centre. The queen should have handled both of them better.

All that said, I do wonder who else was involved with Epstein? Andrew is an easy fall guy. What about all the others? Trump, Clinton, etc all the people with actual power? Andrew is a distraction for them. Jail the lot!

I’d have said no, but as Royal reporters have said PA was a extraordinary ‘blind spot’ for the late Queen.

For the same reasons Harry's children became HrH Prince and Princess when Charles became king - current LP's from 1917 grant all male line grandchildren of the monarch the HrH and Prince or Princess title.

I'm not sure if they will. I would have expected, if the intention was to level up the sexism of it, that when the LP's were issued for the Cambridge children prior to George's birth they would have done it then.

It was a prime time to re-write them going forward when neither William or Harry had children yet. But they didn't. In the changing "The eldest son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales..." to "All children of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales" they literally only changed it for the then future Cambridge children.

They were changing it because if George had been a girl she'd have been a future Queen but entitled to a lesser title than a younger brother. Yet the change didn't even future proof it for that possibility - she'd have been HRH Princess, she'd have been future Queen, but her own future children still wouldn't have been automatically entitled to titles.

Didn't he say in the interview that his main fault was he was 'too honourable' as the reason for spending 4 days in the pedophile, child trafficker's house. He has even qualified not using his titles as an honourable and selfless act to support his sense of public duty and to prevent distraction of the dedicated work of the king. He's a vile delusional human who doesn't know what truth or honour are. Doesn't say much about the others if he was the favourite child.

There us a sense of hierarchy in the RF around titles. Andrew was the golden child. He was made a Duke and yet Edward was only (until recently) an Earl. He seemed a bit overlooked as the youngest. For sure Edward made a few boobs when he was younger with that Royal Knockout and stalking William with his media company. However by and large he and his family have set a decent example and kept their heads down. He is now D of Edinburgh an honour I feel he has deserved.

Yes, that is baffling me too. Who else is discussed in this book? Andrew Windsor is a vile creature if the accusations are true, but what of the others in Epstein's circle? The book seems to have been commissioned and written as a massive act of deflection. Something about this is rotten to the core, and I don't believe for one minute in Epstein's 'suicide'. I expect we'll have to wait until after the deaths of some of the other high-profile predators for the truth to fully emerge.
