The protection I mean, that’s not going to happen

Another attack on a mosque going unreported.

People setting churches on fire are bored teenagers in the middle of the night.
People setting mosques on fire are people who want to send a message to Muslims that they are not welcome and/or to hurt Muslims

How do YOU know that??

JHound · 06/10/2025 16:17

RainbowBagels · 05/10/2025 17:42

So do you think he accidentally drove into 2 people outside a synagogue on a Jewish holy day, didn't think his new winter coat looked like a bomb vest and simply wanted to pay his respects, forgetting he had a knife in his hand and was so desperate to atone for his sins in the synagogue that he tried to smash the windows in?

What?

JHound · 06/10/2025 16:18

goody2shooz · 05/10/2025 17:33

Maybe this will help

Aha ha ha! That is exactly what I was referring to!

nomas · 06/10/2025 16:56

Not surprised about the dismissal of attacks on Muslims and Muslim places of worship.

There seems to be a 'put up and shut up' mentality towards Muslims.

nomas · 06/10/2025 16:58

UltraCynica · 05/10/2025 21:23

No need for the sarcastic eye roll.

There were in fact 2 people inside. We know this as they heard someone trying to get in then the fire was started. Luckily they escaped. If they had been killed it would have been murder.

You don't burn down a place of worship, just after prayers, and expect a place to be empty.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm2dglp43xmo

Yes, the mosque spokesman said the terrorists tried to get into the mosque 3 times.

nomas · 06/10/2025 17:00

PraisebetoGod · 05/10/2025 17:29

He publicly declared support of an islamic terrorist group.

Why are you trying to derail a thread about heinous attacks on mosques? What is your agenda?

1457bloom · 06/10/2025 21:50

It is horrendous that anyone should try to burn a mosque down, there could easily have been someone inside.

How about rtft nomas before @ ing me.

If I have an agenda it must be the opposite one to yours.

I commented about this on the other thread you posted OP. How reliable is this source? I find it unbelievable and infuriating that the Echo hasn’t even reported on it!

Interesting reporting in that article
"after an attack on a Manchester synagogue in which at least two people were shot, one fatally, by police"

So they are complaining about minimising of an Islamophobic attack on a mosque by minimising the murders of two people in a terrorist attack, and blaming the police!

Greater Manchester Police admits it shot two people at the synagogue terror attack

Police and the corporate media are weaponising the Manchester attack - yet damning failings by GMP are already being exposed

The arsonist is Arif Ali Rafiq.

That isn't the attack on the mosque in the OP though. Different place, not the attack on Peacehaven.

And?

BadgernTheGarden · 07/10/2025 13:42

I saw it in the news. They tried to break in, failed, then spread presumably petrol in front of the building and set fire to it and that set fire to a car outside. Certainly seems like a hate crime and I guess may be up graded to terrorism if they find out who did it and their political activism. May have just been the usual louts out looking for trouble to get into, or a planned not very successful terrorist attack.

Of course they say it’s mental health issues when the person isn’t a Muslim.
