Personally I do but I feel it’s fine

No but I wouldn't eat a lot of sweet stuff, it's the crisps that I would eat everyday if they were in the house .

HeartShapedBox · 05/10/2025 08:06

Yes, multiple of each daily.

clamshell24 · 05/10/2025 08:07

Yes and cake about 3 x a week. I could lose a bit but i do have a pretty fast metabolism

signiffig · 05/10/2025 12:43

The more sugar I have the more I want - so I tend to keep a lid on it deliberately. To be honest I think the quality of sweet food has diminished so much that I’m often disappointed and that puts me off. Cadbury is crap, as is Rowntrees and Mars, last time I had Maltesers I just didn’t see the point. I buy a good ice cream from a local Gelato shop, very rarely will I think a pudding in a restaurant is going to be good - it’s often bought in and processed, even good restaurants disappoint. I’d go to a good cake shop - it just needs to be homemade with butter and fresh, but not easy to find. Maybe my taste buds have changed.

Yes easily one a day if not more. I am not overweight and 80% of my diet is very healthy and nutritious so I have no plans to stop. I love baking and there’s nothing better than a salad for lunch which then leaves room for a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake. I also enjoy a glass of wine with certain meals - red with red meat, white with fish etc. I get such huge pleasure from food and drink and I am able to moderate easily.

That's a great attitude to food. Balance and moderation but nothing excluded.

MagicLoop · 05/10/2025 12:53

Yes, but I'm losing weight. Probably because I now (unfortunately) gluten and largely dairy intolerant. So although I eat a small amount of chocolate and cheese and can have gluten-free biscuits and cakes etc, they are often a bit crap and my overall consumption of baked goods, bread, desserts and creamy things has massively reduced. I feel like I deserve the few sweet treats I have, as I'm deprived of so many foods I like!

Ricecrispiesatsix · 05/10/2025 16:58

No. I don’t really have a sweet tooth. Sometimes I bake cookies with the kids and then of course I’ll have some.

pinkspeakers · 05/10/2025 17:00

Not every day. But fairly often. More so when I'm at work. Not normally when I'm at home as we don't normally have them in.

Sunshineandgrapefruit · 05/10/2025 17:56

I have something sweet. Not usually biscuits. I have a square or two of dark choc or handful of nuts and raisins most days. Occasional cake.

PersephoneParlormaid · 05/10/2025 17:56

Yes, unfortunately I do and that’s why I’m a size 16

NotSmallButFunSize · 05/10/2025 17:59

EvangelicalAboutButteredToast · 04/10/2025 20:12

Absolutely. I am a healthy weight and I eat crisps and chocolate every day.

Same - I just don't eat a whole packet of biscuits or more than one bag of crisps.

Everything in moderation!

luckylavender · 05/10/2025 18:08

No. I very seldom eat either.

idontwanttomissathing · 08/10/2025 14:29

I ate a whole box of Tunnocks Tea Cakes last night. Plus a tube of fruit pastilles.
so, yes, I eat chocolate and or biscuits everyday.
Today, I’ve eaten about six Bourbon biscuit between breakfast (granola, yoghurt and fruit)and lunch (peanut butter and banana sandwich, fruit salad, apple turnover) .
Why do you ask?
Im 54, 5ft, 7 stone and always have been apart from when pregnant when I went up to 8stone3.

Onefortheroad25 · 08/10/2025 15:08

Yeah I’d have something small every day with a cup of tea. Like a 2 finger kit-kat or a small yellow snack bar.
I’ve just had a lemon drizzle flapjack. I need something nice everyday!

TheAlcott · 08/10/2025 15:31

Yes, most days. A bit of chocolate usually, rather than biscuits as I find it much easier to mindlessly overeat biscuits!

I've recently lost 30lbs and my BMI is 23, all health markers are excellent. I don't cut out anything, I just make sure it's within my daily calorie limit. I don't drink alcohol or smoke. The vast majority of my food is UPF-free and I drink at least 2 litres of water a day. But you'll have to prise my Wispa Gold dipped in a cup of tea out of my cold, dead hands.

whattheysay · 08/10/2025 16:09

Yes I do, but I try to eat it within my calorie allowance to maintain my weight.

Oxo01 · 08/10/2025 16:16

No I am more savory so a pack of crisps maybe or ready salted crisp sandwhich but not really daily.

I only eat dark chocolate and 2 biscuits but plainish ones, hate anything too sweet. But i love salt bad i know.

vincettenoir · 08/10/2025 16:19

I have something sweet after dinner. Often an ice lolly or a little bit of chocolate.

GingerPaste · 08/10/2025 16:21

Yes but I’m a chocoholic. And I’m not saying that as a joke. It’s a very real problem for me. I’ve managed to cut down to one square of dark chocolate most days (I don’t binge on it as I don’t like it too much), and I now have a Friday the-working-week’s-over treat. But it wouldn’t take much for me to plunge back into eating shed loads everyday.
