NototerrorismIntheUK · 03/10/2025 15:15

The police and others have called out in the hope that there will be no pro Palestine marches tomorrow. They are stretched and say it will divert resources from trying to protect the Jewish people following the terrorist attack yesterday.

I agree. No march tomorrow AIBU?

I can’t see that they won’t go ahead. It’s raining maybe that is a factor idk, but other than that I’m not sure the type of messaging to not go works.

clipboardz · 03/10/2025 16:01

Using the tragic murder of a Jewish person to try and besmirch the actions of those standing up to genocide is gross.

Everyone sees you

PropertyD · 03/10/2025 16:01

It’s sickening that these marches are still continuing. Shame on the idiots attending.

The Telegraph are running a story regarding the Father of the terrorist today and what he has been saying. It doesn’t make easy reading.

ThatCyanCat · 03/10/2025 16:02

NototerrorismIntheUK · 03/10/2025 15:24

Please use this time to chant no to terrorism then as well? Get rid of terrorists? Free the hostages? No? Peace for all maybe?

Please, please don't sing globalise the intifada and from the river to the sea..... (eradicate Israel as it means) etc etc maybe just peace for all?

Edited

If they gave a shit about the Gazans, they'd call upon Hamas to accept the peace plan. I don't think I've seen a single sign calling for that.

AzurePanda · 03/10/2025 15:58

Let them march, it shows them up for what they are. The majority of British people will be sickened by it.

It’s all falling into Reforms hands , multiculturalism doesn’t work . the majority are heartily sick of foreign wars played out on the streets here , if people feel that strongly go and do relief work in Gaza , be of proper value not just shout over here .

eqpi4t2hbsnktd · 03/10/2025 16:03

You can disagree with the murder of Jews and the murder of Palestinians...

lazyarse123 · 03/10/2025 16:03

What is the point of protests? Our government can't make either side behave in the right way. It's virtue signalling in the worst way.
Our government should stop supplying arms to Israel but they won't and some folk shouting and waving flags won't change their mind.
The tragedy yesterday will just serve to make racism against Muslims and migrants even worse. It's all a very depressing shitshow. So many people hating each other.

clipboardz · 03/10/2025 16:04

You can disagree with the murder of Jews and the murder of Palestinians...

No one has said otherwise, people are asking for compassion and empathy.

travailtotravel · 03/10/2025 16:04

Most Jewish people are horrified at what is happening in Gaza. Most muslims are horrified at what happened in Manchester.

Don't let's pick on each other when it's the Israeli government and a handful of extremists that are the issue.

Has anyone on here said you can't?
It would be good if the marchers would acknowledge that. Just a bit.

Can you post a link to the weekly pro Israeli demonstration. I haven't seen that is happening each week. Thank you.

I'm not your sodding PA, love! Why don't you try googling Friends of Israel, Jewish news, Our fight etc for details. Fecks sake.

HPFA · 03/10/2025 16:06

have completely destroyed our identity

I imagine the people pulling down the flag were just objecting to a flag which should be a symbol of togetherness being abused by people like yourself who talk this sort of rubbish.

There is nothing "culturally" that English people were able to do, say, seventy years ago that they aren't allowed to do today. Go to an Anglican Church? A cricket match? A village fete? A Shakespeare play?

clipboardz · 03/10/2025 16:06

It’s all falling into Reforms hands ,

And that is the biggest tragedy

We have the right to peaceful protest and freedom of speech, regardless of how you feel about the cause, so marches should go ahead.
Trying to use hate incidents to shut down freedom of expression is disgraceful.

I haven’t heard any Muslim commentators condemning this . Maybe I have just missed them .

Exactly! all this us and them nonsense just plays into the hands of those who want to feel victimised so they can justify the violence.

Cathandkin · 03/10/2025 16:07

Well, how lovely to discuss in an intelligent, sensible way! 😂

No.

Straight after is wrong.

Paganpentacle · 03/10/2025 16:08

ALL monotheistic religions need banning.

You're all as bad- war/fighting/genocide in the name of religion and 'holy' land.

They'll be enjoying their pro-Hamas march even more. In some ways I think it will be good if the marches go ahead; draw these people out like pus from a boil so we can see who they truly are. I would allow the marches but ban face coverings.

In news that will surprise no-one, the father of the terrorist, a man who called his little baby 'Jihad,' praised Hamas on October 7th. You can see how the terrorist was raised. The father is an NHS surgeon which is scary in itself. Why aren't these people vetted before being allowed to enter and stay in the country? What exactly does it take for the authorities to see red flags? Are these people a danger to their patients in the NHS?

We are not pro Hamas. Even in right wing newspapers you can see the majority of muslims reject terrorism and Hamas - please do not tar us all with the same brush. I condemn the attack on those poor people in the synagogue yesterday as do most muslims but Islamophobia is not the answer. Educate yourself and stop the bigotry

FirstNationsEnglish · 03/10/2025 16:09

What part of 'leave the Jewish peoples alone; leave Israel alone!' don't the flag waving, baying supporters of a terrorist supporting place like Palestine, understand? Just leave the Jewish people alone to live their lives in peace.

Don't attack them, don't try and take away their teeny tiny piece of this globe, don't rape their women and behead their children; just leave them to enjoy festivals and lives in peace ... and 'problem' solved! Easy, peasy, really.

If Hamas and their ilk can't live in peace, and their avowed intent is to eradicate every single Jewish person from this earth - and that's even before they start on the Christians and the remaining infidels - and they, sickeningly use innocent children and adults as their human shield in order to pander to the wokeness of the left (which they actually laugh at!!!) - and people actually support that - I wonder who will be squealing loudest when they come for you, because they surely will!

PropertyD · 03/10/2025 16:09

Starmer and his pathetic response. Bloody well do something, ban the marches. The cost is obscene. Stop praising the police and saying we are putting our arms around the Jewish community. We have a cancer running through our country. It’s needs cutting out.

If they gave a shit about "genocide" they'd be marching against Syria, Yemen, or Boko Haram.
