The police and others have called out in the hope that there will be no pro Palestine marches tomorrow. They are stretched and say it will divert resources from trying to protect the Jewish people following the terrorist attack yesterday.

I agree. No march tomorrow AIBU?

The shit is going to hit the fan, if this thread is anything to go by. Best leave your children at home may I suggest. This really isn’t going to go well.

Educate yourself about the actual definition of the word Jihad. And here is a link to the father's statement.

Do some basic fucking reading before making accusations
www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0q7y72kppgo

Educate yourself. The father posted some pretty illuminating stuff about the October 7th attacks. But I suppose you’re right with him.

This response to a Jewish person explaining their reflections, fears and experiences reveals a lot about your approach to "your" Jewish community.

My approach? I’m confused. I don’t really have any dealings with our Jewish community to my knowledge, other than a general good morning if I’m out walking, or a general chat with the mum of a Jewish child that plays football with my son

You do realise that all the links you’re posting in these threads have enormous percentages in them?

39% of Muslims believe women should obey men
50% of Muslims have hatred for homosexuality
48% of Muslims are in agreement with Hamas (from a link you posted earlier)

Those numbers should be less than half that in a western society. There are 4 million Muslims in the uk, so by those numbers 2mil hate gays, nearly 2mil support a terrorist organisation and about 1.3 million think women are less than.

My point is not all muslims think as the daily fail says. I support gay people but I have muslim family members that disagree. I don't speak to my husband about it as he is old fashioned in his ways but please don't tar us all with the same brush

GoldenRosebee · 03/10/2025 18:37

none of that is real
there's nothing truthful to your comment
stop lying

All lies. Here’s another antidemite. This dreadful surgeon - look at the lies he is saying:

Dr Maynard claimed he has operated on boys as young as 11 who had been "shot at food distribution points" run by the US and Israel-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
"They had gone to get food for their starving families and they were shot," he said.
"I operated on one 12-year-old boy who died on the operating table because his injuries were so severe."

Who knows why he and other international doctors would all lie.

Such a shame the only peace loving democracy in the Middle East cares so much about the lives of journalists that they are not allowing them into Gaza to tell us about other lies.

ThatCyanCat · 03/10/2025 18:44

Why aren't the marchers calling for Hamas to accept the peace deal?

Sorry, but those stats are horrifying. And we wonder why incidents like yesterday take place. So much hate and disapproval

Why aren't the marchers calling for Hamas to accept the peace deal?

Quite. After all peace is entirely possible for everyone in the region.

"If this event had been against some other races, there would be rioting and looting.
the Jewish community have been very dignified at an awful time."

Some of them are booing Lammy and telling him to go to Palestine. The man has supported the Israeli genocide for months, provided weapons and intelligence.

Shaz - what if any children that you have come out as gay? What would your husband or other members of the family thing and do?

Sugarspiceandeverythingnice · 03/10/2025 18:47

NototerrorismIntheUK · 03/10/2025 15:28

Why are they so blind? Can they not see the damage they do? Why don't they care that this encourages people to hit out, shout out, be unkind, kill Jewish people? Spit at Jewish people? Shout free Palestine to Jewish people in the UK? That's just hatred, nothing else.

There's plenty of orthodox Jews that also come to pro Palestinian marches so stop talking nonsense.

butterdish93 · 03/10/2025 18:47

What’s happened is absolutely horrific and beyond words.

there is a genocide going on though and there should be no reason to stop peaceful protests.

DangleDonkey · 03/10/2025 18:49

NotsoLovinLefties · 03/10/2025 15:28

When will you be marching for the Christian Nigerians?
No, didn’t think so 😒

A person can march or protest for a certain cause without having to march or protest for all causes. It doesn't make them insincere - people focus on one or two issues they feel strongly about but can't possibly protest every injustice.

They aren’t peaceful though - it’s hate speech and pure racism. Likely tomorrow to incite violence. Wanting to eliminate an entire race could never be considered ‘peaceful’ my friend.

ThatCyanCat · 03/10/2025 18:49

There's a peace deal on the table. What's the point of marching to end the killing but not marching to accept the peace deal?

Ceasefire now, I thought?

TravelPanic · 03/10/2025 18:49

YABVVVU. The genocide is still happening. Therefore the marches will continue.

The UK government needs to stop funding genocide - then the marches will stop and anti-Jewish sentiment will also be reduced. Can’t you see that the government's continuing support for the terrorist israeli govt is making British Jewish people LESS safe, not more?

Opposing genocide does not equal antisemitism.

You can oppose genocide, oppose the systemic killing of innocent people, including 20,000 children, and also oppose the murder of the innocent Manchester victims.

To equate being pro-Palestine with terrorism or antisemitism is dangerous and undermines the genocide that is taking place.

How can you sit there and scoff at people going to out to try and stop the killing of innocent children?

100% agree, @Scarpss.

It truly baffles me.

You sound so uninformed it’s embarrassing. You do realise the Israeli govt is actually erasing a whole race right now? And that’s why there are protests? Most people don’t like a holocaust! Funny that!

I’m guessing you’ve actually been to one?

TwistyTurnip · 03/10/2025 18:51

I agree with you OP, but sadly I think they will go ahead because most of the marchers are just nasty antisemites.

Whichhandbag · 03/10/2025 18:52

If this terrorist attack had happened prior to October 2023, people would have been up in arms about the erosion British values etc... it would have been appalling. Now they've all been gaslit on such an epic scale that their social-media addled brains defend their right to protest in favour of a terrorist group who offers its own people no such freedom. The number of people who describe the marches as an opportunity to 'express themselves' is telling - this is pure virtue signalling. The paucity of critical thinking is outstanding.
