obviously all the craziness over her divorce, custody arrangements is well documented and iirc she once lost her shit with someone in a car park , proper road rage/parking rage type incident. She really needs therapy/help.

I don't understand why you would admire that? He didn't cheat on her, he ended the marriage. And she's made herself look like a lunatic.

No, what they needed was their mother to be sectioned and allowed to be in the safety of the sane and sensible father. Alice has done more damage to those kids than anyone else could. They'll see that one day, and she'll end up alone.

The 'ex has brainwashed the children against me' is a tired old story peddled by men who have found a new woman and need a get-out clause for their existing responsibilities. Alice is clearly crazy but I doubt many young children would be over the moon with their father abandoning them to start a shiny new family with a woman young enough to be his daughter. Regular contact with his children should have been prioritised over getting his affair partner new girlfriend pregnant.

Except, unusually, in this case, I don’t have to believe Ioan - the full court papers are online and I can believe them. The fact is they agree with Ioan’s version of events and show that Alice is a manipulative liar and abusive parent.

He tried ‘prioritising seeing the children’. Alice prevented it to the point he was advised that continuing to try would be actively damaging to the girls.

Bianca got pregnant years into their relationship at a time when it was clear that family reunification was years away at best - mainly due to Alice’s conduct.

He didn’t abandon the children - he left his abuser with the intention of remaining a present and involved father. Alice made sure that didn’t happen.

It’s all in the court papers.

That doesn’t make it any less exploitative.

Proof of an affair?

Well he tried. Have you seen that photo of Alice standing at the back entrance of a school, waiting to ambush Ioan when he was trying to attend a parents evening. It's chilling. That's what he had to contend with.

According to court documents their father attempted reunification therapy to move forward and rebuild their relationship but Alice refused to take the kids and when she did she had an episode on the floor of the waiting room of the practise and demanded an ambulance be called.

I couldn’t care about him leaving the marriage. Whether it was abusive or not, he has every right to end his marriage for whatever reason.

She can’t prevent him from having shared custody. I’m pretty sure shared custody is the norm in California.

It took him an entire year after he moved Bianca into his home for him to even go to court for custody of the kids. He was quick enough to go to court for a restraining order, though.

He knew better than anyone what kind of mother Alice was, yet he left the kids behind so he could focus on his new relationship. He is disgusting.

He didn’t ’move Bianca into his home’. He moved into her home - rent free - so he could keep paying for the home occupied by Alice and the children.

As for joint custody - the children are so damaged (by Alice) that experts have told him trying for custody would be actively harmful. Hence the attempt at family reunification therapy that Alice faked a heart attack to prevent.

He was trying to co-parent by agreement prior to going to court - the way most court systems require people to attempt before court proceedings. The only disgusting behaviour is by Alice.

Has she family who could help ?

It isn’t just alcohol. There are messages where her daughter is messaging her father because Alice was giving her drug dealers free access into the house.

Her issues long predate the end of her marriage.

When Whitney Houston was leaving drug paraphernalia around her kids. Well documented in photos, I expected that the children would be removed. They weren't. Whitney died, then her daughter.

Just to note, they had a rock solid pre-nup that said he only had to pay child support, no alimony but he still paid her hundreds of thousands of dollars more than she was legally entitled to.

The court said to stop and only pay the $3,000 a month child support so with this being her only income (she’s not working), Alice promptly moved into a $6,500 a month property. My understanding is she also got several hundred thousand from sale of the family home which may be how she was funding this.

She then cried poverty all over her social media and claimed she and the girls were going to be homeless.

You're invested enough in this complete stranger's divorce actually to take voyeuristic peeks at their court papers, then actually admit (albeit under a screen alias) to doing this?

All the salacious gossip about an obviously seriously ill woman is downright grubby and unedifying, but this goes over and above. It's strange beyond belief.

He did prioritise the children - he spent thousands on lawyers and therapy so they could have a relationship with him, but that was all sabotaged by Alice. There's only so much you can do before you realise you're throwing money down the drain. Seems they only contact him now when they want money.

As for the poster saying that he forced Bianca on the children, if you look up the court docs on Reddit, you can see that it was ALICE who suggested the children went to his and Bianca's flat. Then the kids kicked off and tried to frame Bianca for abusing them. Luckily Ioan had an independent witness present as it seems he rightly smelled a rat.

This. And while Ioan was living there, it was Bianca’s flat for which she was paying all the bills. All Ioan’s money was going to Alice and the children.

I feel terribly sorry for their kids - one of their text messages was in an article at some point, and it was so painful and sad (even though it was presenting as "feisty"). It must be agonising for them that he puts happy photos all over social media and then knocks up his much younger girlfriend. The timelines are off too - he spent a couple of years trying to support the kids. Sure, it probably felt like a long time, but it really wasn't.

Bianca is his Wife. Also, through many of Alice's social media posts, she has said plenty of times the girls don't want to see him, even though he was trying to and spent thousand's of dollars trying to make it happen.

As with the courts here though shared custody is often the preferred route but mothers who want to get back at their ex's can use they system

Of course many men manipulate the system too or just walk away but lets not pretend all woman work the system to protect their children
