obviously all the craziness over her divorce, custody arrangements is well documented and iirc she once lost her shit with someone in a car park , proper road rage/parking rage type incident. She really needs therapy/help.

Apparently I’m triggered at the thought of my spouse leaving me because I recognise elements of Alice in myself. Dr Freud Merlin managed to deduce this from my thinking Ioan had responsibility to bear for his part in the deterioration of his relationship with his daughters, and that the online bullying and harassment of Alice Evans is rather unpleasant, despite what she has or hasn’t done.

It’s incredible, really, that they cannot hear how ridiculous they sound.

Considering the thread is littered with posts of Merlin getting very triggered upset at others not agreeing with her, I think she is best left shouting into the void.

It is true that Alice shared some Text messages back in the days when her husband was choosing his new girlfriend over the kids. And the resulting DVRO specifically prevented her from doing so again. Sadly, Ioan continues to share the private messages his kids send him.

It is quite enlightening to read the screenshots that the poster Welp put together. So many of them have nothing to do with Ioan at all. The ones that do are largely responses to people (including Bianca’s friends) who spent weeks on Twitter hounding Alice in the months after Ioan Gruffudd ghosted her.

Sadly, Ioan continues to share the private messages his kids send him.

The pushback from some women when anyone suggests that Ioan, a grown 50 year old something man, should consider how things look from his children’s perspective, should consider their wellbeing or that he carries any responsibility whatsoever for the current state of his relationship with his children, is really quite something.

The comments from some users almost come as a tag team too, I really hope those tactics of posters responding to every comment that isn’t pro-Alice doesn’t put people off, nobody should feel intimidated from posting on here.

I’m not sure when/if reality will ever pierce egos BUT it’s a certainty that abuse apologists WILL (if they haven’t already) be left for a better person than they are. It might be someone younger than them, it might be for someone older than them. Whilst they’re focusing on those details, they’re missing the point, it wasn’t about age/looks/weight etc. it’s because they are a REALLY bad person to be in a relationship with.

I feel so sorry for the people who had kids with these people, you can have a child with someone like Alice Evans but it’s often too late when you realise you’re trapped to the wrong parent forever (e.g. when someone like Alice forces you to get a nanny because even though she doesn’t work, she wants a nanny to parent the kids she’s too lazy to).

I’m so pleased for Ioan that he gets to experience parenthood with Bianca, a wife who doesn’t have a personality disorder and a woman who actually want to look after their daughter rather than hiring a nanny to do it
