I'm so sorry but i couldnt tell you a thing Trump said. he was just talking

Evil Netanyahu talking now

I reckon his back was hurting standing there listening to Trump rabbit on (good)

Will Netanyahu stick to it? Doubtful.

Edit, to remove laughing emojis, even though Trump is laughable, they had no place on such a thread, sorry for any offence caused xx

I am far from angry, so you're wrong again.

And whilst I don't believe in the deal, I do not want the genocide to continue.

Many of those sensible leaders were involved in the Iraq and Afghan wars, amongst others.

I needn't take anything out on anyone.
Actually, you responded to my post and we engaged in what is regular discourse, so I'm not sure how you've managed to conjure up anger and taking this out on people. That did tickle me though 😅.

Read your first paragraph again. It was nonsense about bully and bullshit or whatever. It doesn’t apply here so I said use it on someone else.

Did you just draw equivalence between the Nazis and Israel?

Remove Israel's army? The army that's there to protect Israeli citizens?

Forced regime change on a sovereign, democatic nation?

Can you even hear yourself?

This thread is something

Yes, as do most of the world. Wake up. There is no popular support for Israel anymore - it’s become a pariah state, sadly turning into what it used to hate/fear. The genocide of Palestinians cannot be justified. Not by Oct 7 nor by anything else. Trump etc only support it due to money and power in Middle East. Sickening what the Palestinians have had to endure for decades now, but particularly the last two years. The Second World War holocaust was not Palestinians’ fault and yet they’ve been made to pay for it ever since.

People want this to end, look at all those in support of the plan. All the leaders and UN, only a few will argue against it.

You say you "don't believe in the deal". Which parts of the 20 point peace plan are problematic to you? It appears middle eastern countries believe in the deal. Tell us what you find a problem in the peace plan, that they don't?

Who is everyone?

Jordan, Egypt, Syria, UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UN, the UK, France etc

Pretty much everyone but Hamas and their useful idiot supporters in the West are in support of it

You're really quite misinformed.

The USA is an ally of Israel.
We are an ally of Israel.
Heard of the Abraham accords?
Heard of the Camp David Accords?

Hamas are the Pariah.
Hamas are the only ones yet to not agree to this peace deal.

No international court capable of ruling on genocide has yet concluded a genocide has taken place. The UK government position is not that a genocide is taking place. The court of mumsnet doesn't count, I'm afraid.

Its absolutely sickening what innocent civilians on both sides have had to endure ever since the birth of Israel back in 1948. Unfortunately Palestinian Arabs refused to share the land and here we are 80 years later, Hamas still trying to murder Israelis just for being where they are. At some point they'll accept that Israel is here to stay, and then hopefully everyone can move along with their lives.

No one said that the Holocaust was the Palestinians fault, but Palestinian leadership at the time famously copied up to Hitler and his mission to get rid of Jews. You can look it up.

I've no idea what on earth you mean by Palestinians paying for the Holocaust. But if you think Israel is just going to sit back while crazed murderers stream across their border screaming 'Kill the Jewish Dogs' as Hamas did on 7 October, then you're very much mistaken.

Palestinian Gazans have been paying the price for the 7 October Hamas massacre ever since.

Lets hope Hamas finally accept this deal, return the hostages they should never have taken, and fuck off forever.

If anyone wants to read a thread thats a bit more about the content of the possible peace deal there's one in CITME about it. Its a lot more informative than the absolute drivel, like the post I've quoted, on this one.

As the grandson of two survivors of concentration camps and a masters in Holocaust studies I can assure you I am well aware of what Nazis are and even if I didn't have those academic and personal qualifications I have eyes and move through the world as a Jew so am well aware of what's occuring and have attached links:

Why would they have an issue with any of this?

20 key points from the Trump-Netanyahu meeting

  1. Gaza to be a deradicalised terror-free zone
  2. Gaza to be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza
  3. Immediate end to war, if both sides agree
  4. Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting agreement, all Hamas-held hostages to be returned
  5. Once all hostages released, Israel to return 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1,700 detained Gazans
  6. Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and decommissioning weapons to be given amnesty. Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza provided with safe passage
  7. If deal agreed, full aid to be be immediately sent into the Gaza Strip
  8. Entry of distribution and aid in Gaza to proceed without interference from the two parties
  9. Gaza to be governed under temporary governance committee. The committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, chaired by President Trump alongside others including Sir Tony Blair
10. A Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energise Gaza will be created 11. A special economic zone to be established with preferred tariff and access rates 12. No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave will be free to do so — and free to return 13. Hamas and other factions agree to not have any role in the governance of Gaza. All military and terror infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, to be destroyed 14. A guarantee provided by regional partners to ensure Hamas, and factions, comply with their obligations and that New Gaza poses no threat to its neighbours 15. A temporary International Stabilisation Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza. The ISF will train and provide support to vetted Palestinian police forces in the Strip 16. Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza. As the ISF establishes control, the IDF will withdraw. The IDF will progressively hand over the Gaza territory it occupies to the ISF 17. In the event Hamas delays or rejects this proposal, the above, including the scaled-up aid operation, will proceed in the terror-free areas handed over from the IDF to the ISF 18. Interfaith dialogue process to be established based on the values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence to try and change mindsets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis 19. As Gaza re-development advances, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood 20. The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous co-existence

This all seems very reasonable to me.

Sadly I doubt Hamas will accept this. They are a death cult who are very happy to see their people “martyred”. I don’t think many of the Left have any conception of how differently Hamas and other Islamic radicals see the world!

If they don’t Starmer and the Government is partly to blame by hasn’t recognising Palestine last week… it shows Hamas that the more they goad Israel into causing suffering to their people, the more concessions they’ll gain the West… or rather those in the West with weak and suggestible leaders like our own.

Norma27 · 30/09/2025 13:55

Yes, of course you do. What a load of lies and rubbish. There are no nazis here. Nobody wants anyone hurt or killed. There's seriously something wrong with people who think this way. Having strong borders is not and never will be nazi behaviour. I suggest you visit a concentration camp, see what those poor souls went through and stop working yourself up into hysterics.

ComfortFoodCafe · 29/09/2025 20:19

It wont work at all. Hamas will never accept it and as vile as that sounds I hope they dont, what Israel have done they need to be held accountable for it. We didnt let Germany get away with it!

You're right, it does sound vile. You (presumably) consider yourself to be pro-Palestine, but you would rather see more Palestinians die than contemplate any kind of compromise with Israel. People actually do exist outside of your social media feed. It's not a game.

I wish that the useful idiots would stop referring to less than 3% of the population being injured or killed as "genocide".

Anyway, Hamas doesnt want peace, won't accept peace, so any "deal" is irrelevant.
They wont stop until they wipe out Israel, which they frequently make emphatically clear.

Agreed. As unimaginable awful as it must be for the average Gazan, it’s no genocide.

If Israel had chosen to commit genocide, it easily had the means to do so… there would be no Gazans left.

The difference with Hamas is that they absolutely would commit genocide against Israeli Jews if they had the chance, and they’re completely open about it!

Yep, and even some of the so-called "neutral journalists" that useful idiots like the NYT dig up, turn out to be paedophiles who are jealous that someone else has a kidnapped Jewish child:

https://x.com/chalavyishmael/status/1972824529899499553

I'd guess that truly neutral journalists wouldn't stay alive for very long in Gaza.
