I'm so sorry but i couldnt tell you a thing Trump said. he was just talking

Evil Netanyahu talking now

I reckon his back was hurting standing there listening to Trump rabbit on (good)

Will Netanyahu stick to it? Doubtful.

Edit, to remove laughing emojis, even though Trump is laughable, they had no place on such a thread, sorry for any offence caused xx

Israel had defended itself against a terrorist group who committed the worst mass slaughter of its people since the holocaust, who continues to hold dozens of its citizens hostages, and whose stated aim is to wipe it out of existence. I think you’ll find it’s Hamas that needs to be held accountable.

You’d hope but not sure they will be.

whitewave · 30/09/2025 08:59

This peace deal has been weeks if not months in the formation and agreement.

Blair snd other Middle Eastern envoys have been shuttling back and forth between Israel, and USA for months, constructing then selling it to the Americans and Israelis.

Whatever you think of Blair, no one can deny that he is one of the most experienced people regarding the Middle East, and regardless of his war history, if he, alongside other Middle Eastern colleagues can pull this off, frankly it will matter very little to the hostage families, and Palestinian mothers.

So, I wish everyone involved in this peace deal all the luck in the world and my message to the hostages and Palestinians is

whitewave · 30/09/2025 09:05

Whoops got cut off?

my message to the hostages and Palestinians is that I wish you all the luck in the world and 🤞🤞🤞🤞it won’t be long now.

with regard to Hamas - they have no part to play in the future of Gaza and they know this. Hamas will be extinct. However I do worry that because of the atrocities committed in gaza and West Bank, that the hatred will continue. It will take a huge amount of skill and endeavour to convince the palestinians that they are now free of oppression and begin to build faith and trust in their future.

it must begin by indicting all those guilty of war crimes and justice must be seen to be done on both sides.

Dweetfidilove · 30/09/2025 09:19

A whole bunch of rantings about nothing.

Quite recently we were im uproar about a peace deal between Trump and Putin, not including Zelenksy, yet here we are negotiating Palestinian freedom without their involvement.

A peace deal being cultivated by the men who wanted to turn Palestine into a resort.

Netanyahu issuing threats as usual - very peaceful man that he is. I can see him praying to all the Gods, Hamas does nothing disappointing - like agreeing to the deal and ending his bloodsport.

Tony Blair? I admire much about the man, but he needs to stay out of this.

Absolute farce!

It wont work at all. Hamas will never accept it and as vile as that sounds I hope they dont, what Israel have done they need to be held accountable for it. We didnt let Germany get away with it!

Wtf did I just read?

You hope Hamas won't accept the deal, end the slaughter and return the hostages?

So Israel can be held accountable?

You could not have made yourself more clear.

I've long thought that the "pro-Palestinian" movement don't actually care much about actual Palestinians, so I'm not overly surprised to read this.

I cannot believe they said this out loud. In print.

Alicealig · 30/09/2025 09:34

I wish people understood what genocide actually means. 😅

Who is everyone?

In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia, and Pakistan said they welcomed Trump's "leadership and his sincere efforts to end the war in Gaza".

Ursula von der Leyen, the European Commission president, said that she welcomed Donald Trump’s peace proposal to end the nearly two-year-old war in Gaza.

“Welcome President @realDonaldTrump’s commitment to end the war in Gaza. Encourage all parties to now seize this opportunity. The EU stands ready to contribute,” she wrote on X.

“Hostilities should end with provision of immediate humanitarian relief to the population in Gaza and with all hostages released immediately,” she added.

Starmer and the UN too.

Which pretty much leaves Hamas and a few online still against. Are you sure you want to be agreeing with just Hamas on this?

Ihatetomatoes · 30/09/2025 09:37

Uggbootsforever · 29/09/2025 19:58

Did you just hit random keys on your keyboard just then?

This @mumofoneAloneandwell

There is a clear point peace plan on the table. Many, many, middle east countries are behind it. The US are behind it. Israel are behind it. Its a very clear plan laid out for peace.

Why dont you want the conflict to end @mumofoneAloneandwell . Hopefully Hamas might finally sod off and allow the chance of peace. Its on them now, or will they prefer to keep the conflict going

EmmaOvary · 30/09/2025 09:39

WhatChoiceNow · 29/09/2025 20:51

Your post doesn’t make a lot of sense.
There wasn’t a genocide to start with in Gaza.
But if you are referring to the genocide that happened in Israel on 7 Oct 2023 then I really do hope that trump puts an end to the genocidal fanatics governing Gaza.
Its not really clear what you mean by Palestine you see. It’s not, and never was, a country.
Genocide is defined by the intent not the number of casualties. It’s an antisemitic blood libel to suggest that Israel is committing genocide by defending itself. Would any responsible government abandon its hostages and leave itself in a position vulnerable to further attacks?

I also think many of the Pro Pal lot don't actually want peace. This 20 point peace deal covers so many areas moving forward. Interesting that middle east countries agree to it, but some westerners are not wanting it to go ahead. Speaks volumes. I assumed people wanted peace 🙄

Ihatetomatoes · 30/09/2025 09:46

mumofoneAloneandwell · 29/09/2025 20:11

No idea to both and ive been watching since the beginning

Trump was literally rambling in a low voice - and my spirit blocks Netanyahu out so didnt hear that

So you're posting about a peace deal without actually knowing any of the 20 points in it. Grief, how can you decide if its a good workable peace deal if you don't know anything about it! Its online if you care to look it up.

Seems many are negative without knowing whats in it. Surely EVERYONE wants peace?

AzurePanda · 30/09/2025 09:49

@Ihatetomatoes yes it’s absolutely ironic isn’t it that so many Middle Eastern countries have a different stance - did you see that the UAE delegation stayed to listen to Netanyahu’s speech to the UN and applauded at the end?

I wouldn't share that on here, facts and actually trying to achieve an end to the conflict, seems to.just draw negatives.

You keep banging on about Hamas, like most bullies on this subject does every time someone disagrees. I mentioned no support or agreement with Hamas, so quit that particular strain of bullshit.

That is an impressive list of people supporting the proposal, but I see no Palestinian representation. I also know many of those governments have constant demonstrations in their countries about their stance on the war and their lack of real support for Palestine. And drowning men will catch at a straw.

There are many ex-Hamas Palestinian advocates who could be included in this negotiation and I remain uncomfortable that I see none. How do we decide the fate of a people without involving them?

As a British citizen, I would not want foreign entities deciding my fate, without anyone that represents me. That smacks of everything but workable peace. If it worked, Trump would have also closed out the Ukraine/Russia war as he promised.

Netanyahu has violated every peace deal so far, and is absolutely not a man of peace. I also wouldn't trust Trump as far as I can throw him, so there is that.

Do I want peace? YES! Is Netanyahu the man to bring peace to Palestine? I absolutely do not believe so.

We have been here before and it has failed every time.

Did you just draw equivalence between the Nazis and Israel?

Remove Israel's army? The army that's there to protect Israeli citizens?

Forced regime change on a sovereign, democatic nation?

Can you even hear yourself?

This thread is something

You missed Hamas gone. Was that just an oversight?

You also missed quite a lot of other things including that many middle east countries are in support of this. Fortunately, your opinion doesn't matter to them, so I hope this plan goes ahead and the conflict ends for the better of EVERYONE. The Gazans deserve peace.

You asked who everyone was. I provided the information. Your anger is because you are at odds with all sensible leaders and the UN. Take it out on someone else for a start.

Your wanting this to continue won’t help anyone, if Hamas say no it will continue. Give it a chance, people want to see the end of this.

BorgQueen · 30/09/2025 10:06

There is NO genocide, the population has grown you imbecile.
If they wanted genocide they could have flattened Gaza within a month.
The only group who want genocide are Hamas and their many supporters, who want to wipe Israel and all Jews from the face of the planet.

HedwigEliza · 30/09/2025 10:07

SomewhatAnnoyed · 30/09/2025 03:35

Netenyahu is a war criminal. Israel has been found guilty of genocide and creating a famine. The aid they are promising is frankly a joke in light of the amount of children murdered collecting food for their families. Some were targeted while they were with their parents. It was like reading about a war from the annals of history - starving out a civilian population to punish and force the hand of the evil powers that have assumed control of them, that they had no say in. I read somewhere that likening the condoning of the atrocities by the ppl of Gaza is like saying the whole of the Irish population supported the IRA. Most ordinary ppl just want to be free to live their lives and raise their families in peace. Tony Blair having any involvement whatsoever is an insult and probably being used to add a semblance of credibility and respectability to this plan - which is fucking irony for you.

Funny sort of genocide when the population of Gaza has doubled.

Palestinians elected Hamas. They could have chosen to live peaceably with their neighbours and chose not to. And if they could have been trusted not to smuggle in weapons and grenades in children’s toys, checkpoints wouldn’t have been necessary. There’s a reason other neighbouring countries don’t want to help these people. They cause nothing but trouble and aggravation.

Edited

I am far from angry, so you're wrong again.

And whilst I don't believe in the deal, I do not want the genocide to continue.

Many of those sensible leaders were involved in the Iraq and Afghan wars, amongst others.

I needn't take anything out on anyone.
Actually, you responded to my post and we engaged in what is regular discourse, so I'm not sure how you've managed to conjure up anger and taking this out on people. That did tickle me though 😅.

Sadly I agree. They were very supported of Oct 7 (women being raped as they were stabbed to death… just remember that) until they started losing, then they suddenly had a change of heart. They’re utterly incapable of living peacefully alongside Israel, and do nothing but provoke then cry the victim. I feel desperately sorry for the innocent civilians and children there, and for that reason alone have always supported a ceasefire, but I have zero hope they can be peaceable neighbours.
