This is just not true.

Reform, the flag flyers and protesters are racists. All of this 'It's just the illegals we want gone.' is a lie to excuse their racism.

Why aren't you trying to help litter clean? How do you know who is dropping the litter?

The only real complaint you have that is verifiable is that people are praying.

Calling them what they are isn’t ‘calling them names’. It isn’t about making them change their minds, it’s about confronting them with what they are.

We don’t have a net immigration of 900k a year, it was 430k last year.

Indeed: in discussions about this issue I’ve been called leftie, commie, woke, bleeding heart, Muslim lover, all kinds of things…and I’m totally fine with it, because I am all those things openly and proudly. They on the other hand deny being far right or Islamophobic and they spent hours obfuscating and dancing around a point because they don’t want to say what they mean- that they don’t like brown people.

Well I'm Irish, not in the UK and so I don't think anyone has suggested anything about migrants eating swans, but either way I only listen to valid, common sense arguments.

As for saying if you support racist idiots you get treated like one...do you realise that by treating people as racist or whatever it is you're actually more likely to encourage them to eventually have more extremist views even though their views were moderate before?

Bullshit. You can’t make someone else be more extreme in their view… they do that, all by themselves.

I was specifically referring to people who are simply concerned about rates of immigration and saying how that is not racist.

That shouldn't really cause you to have more extremist views because I'm not throwing out harsh labels in order to try to shut you up, I'm simply explaining basic social psychology because many people don't understand how that actually causes the thing they are so passionately against.

We are expected to be civilised but UK born people are not? How does that make you feel if youre British?

They can dress it up all they want, with their " oh it's only people who are here illegally we want to have deported" but it's blatant racism. I have been shocked and saddened over the past few months and weeks when looking on social media posts at how many people I know IRL seem to think this way.

Of course it matters.
Migrants view on it seems to be split in Ireland, I know many migrants who are also worried about immigration control.

I'm not saying you should be civilised and UK born people don't have to be, what I'm saying is that many of the UK born people are (if it's the same as in this country, which I think it is) being civilised about it and are genuinely simply worried about the levels of immigration, and have never behaved in any way that is not civilised, yet people still try to shut them up by shouting 'racist'. And that that is problematic.

But other people are throwing out harsh lies.

Not just labels. Lies.

And you are standing for them rather than the truth.

Where are they getting the immigration statistics from? Most of them are not even real. Of course they are worried if they are being fed lies.

Ok but moderate, civilised people can't control those people, just like they can't control the government or the amount of immigrants coming in.

I don't know the actual statistics myself, but in my area I believe it's due to the visibility rather than statistics. I live in a tourist area and ALL of the local hotels are now IPAS (asylum-seeker) centres, full of young men.

My grandparents were immigrants (before WW1) I am white. First long term relationship was with a black man (parents immigrants from the West Indies) My second long term relationship was with a Turkish man (parents immigrants from
the Cyprus war) All of these people integrated into the British way of life. They came, they worked hard and made lives for themselves.

They still kept their culture/religion but didn’t impose it on anyone, they integrated into the country they chose to live in.

I think that integration is a lot to do with the way people feel. Me included. Am I racist? I just want to live in the country/culture I was born in.

Yes sadly there are racists, from
all colours/cultures/religions. Mostly Ignorance.

Majority of Reform voters most likely protest voters disillusioned by the current government.

Flying the British flag does not make someone a racist. Flags are waved at the proms. Patriotic not racist.
