Reform, the flag flyers and protesters are racists. All of this 'It's just the illegals we want gone.' is a lie to excuse their racism.

Many people state this... but fail to acknowledge that time and time again, evidence shows serious biases in our arrest/prison/sentencing system... Western nations arrest and convict people of colour at far higher rates than other demographics. The burden of proof has been shown to be lower time and time again.

Stop the boats. Deport criminals. Change our British values so tolerance of other religions and beliefs is no longer one of them.

If 98.4% of all sexual assaults lead to no consequence in the UK... Some would argue that rapists are completely culturally compatible.

Agreed. Part of the issue seems to be that even mentioning ‘British values’ or ‘proud to be British’ is greeting by derision and accusations of racism by some on the left. Just look at the performance on these threads by posters like Swift.

This may have initially been in response to some specific messaging from people either more right wing views but it has expanded to include many people with moderate views, along with spurious accusations of racism.

I am just a very normal mum with fairly moderate centre views, I back some Labour policies and some Conservative policies but both parties are spectacularly failing the country and harming us all.

In recent years I have been called all sorts of names in an attempt to silence me but they’ve overshot - it’s just water off a ducks back now.

To be clear.. it is racist to other ALL asylum seekers as innately violent and criminal. The idea that one race is inherently superior and another is inferior (because of the religion they practise and the views that people believe come along with it) is exactly what racism is. Not all Christian men are the same. Not all Muslim men are the same.

When Reform beats the drum, that ALL male asylum seekers are innately morally corrupt, violent and criminal, they are savages... the idea is that they are innately inferior to white British people (they can not learn, change, adapt - they are savages unable to grow) and that's why they will introduce problems.

It is perfectly natural to have concerns about immigration but how it's being discussed by Reform is racist.

From this thread, what I gather is that most people want is a shift in our core British values. Less tolerance of other religions and beliefs. A melting pot versus multiculturalism.

Nobody has to believe that all cultures are equal. Most people on this globe don’t. I respect certain cultures and totally reject others.

I don’t think all men are innately morally corrupt, violent and criminal. But I do think that men are a risk to me and I live accordingly. Taking on foreign men from a completely different culture and with far different behavioral standards is a RISK that you are asking local women to take. It is fair to reject that.

We used to spend some time in Spain when children were little but avoided fiesta times after local teens thought it amusing to poke lit firecrackers through the metal bars covering their bedroom windows. Spanish custom??

I've never done this with fireworks. Never used to harm another or another's property. Just let them up in our garden for fun.

Yes all cultures are not equal. I much prefer Western culture to culture in the middle east and in India.

I've said repeatedly that I have the same concerns as other women. I absolutely do not want anyone to take on further risk. I do not want us to let in violent criminals.

But I do believe in asylum and I don't think we should discriminate based on their religion or where they come from.

Others disagree - they think integration fails. Fair enough.

How can you check someone is a violent criminal based on the asylum system we have?

The British culture is superior to a significant number of other cultures in the world. A gay can get married and usually not be thrown off a building. You can go to Church without being put in prison for blasphemy. Women have equal rights and can walk the streets without supervision of a man and without covering up. We have the rule of law and a free press. We have a pretty amazing culture actually! For the moment. Although it is being weakened by those that have come here and that do not share our values, particularly of religious tolerance. We tried a type of theocracy a few hundred years ago and it didn't go so well.

Can you give some examples of official Reform statements or policies that are reached? I mean, even the PM makes false claims of racism against them so it would be good to hear the evidence.
