Sick of the lie 'It's just illegal immigrants people don't like.'

1000 replies

Slightyamusedandsilly · 26/09/2025 22:08

This is just not true.

Reform, the flag flyers and protesters are racists. All of this 'It's just the illegals we want gone.' is a lie to excuse their racism.

That's not at all what's going on in my brain.

I see Reform and many of its followers weaponising sexual violence against women to further their political agenda.

They have not advocated for tougher laws on sexual crime or acts of violence.

All they have talked about is the deportation of certain colours of men who commit these crimes. Good they should.

But the rhetoric is asylum seeker=violent offender. There is no bad apple, just a bad bunch. And that is what is frustrating and driving so many of us mad.

I want tougher sentences for ALL men. That is what would keep our women safe.

I want all perpetrators of sexual violence to know that Brits are tough on that type of crime. In the same way that we want people from other countries to know "we are not the food bank of the world" we should also want them to know "Brits do not tolerate sexual violence".

And it feels like no one is actually saying that because actually... well we don't want to ruin a white man's life if he's just made a little mistake. Her skirt was awful short after all and she had been drinking... she's got a reputation...

That is what is driving me mental about this!!

What a utopian and comfortably vague aim. You do know that rape is already illegal in this country?

As that is a bit of a pipe dream at the moment given that the CPS only manage to make a charge in 1.4% of rape cases, I think reducing the risk should be the priority. Given that men from countries like Afghanistan and Somalia are significantly more likely to be criminals than British men, let’s just keep them out and only take the immigrants we want? The government can work out a plan.

But the rhetoric is asylum seeker=violent offender. There is no bad apple, just a bad bunch.

The Maccabi fans are notorious for instigating violence .

Not according to this report from the Netherlands in July this year;

During the council debate, some parties, including DENK and the SP, questioned whether it would have been better to bar the Maccabi fans from the game [2024]. [Amsterdam Mayor Femke] Halsema responded by saying that Maccabi Tel Aviv was not known as a club with a history of violent incidents and that if they had chosen to ban the supporters from the game, it would only have been due to their Israeli nationality. “I felt that, given the Dutch government’s position on Israel that would have been irresponsible."

Your link quotes the Guardian as its source. A further link in the article states that of 122 suspects identified committing various crimes in Amsterdam last year, only 10 were thought to be Maccabi supporters, "the rest seem to be Palestine sympathizers and others who wanted to riot for their own reasons."

Was that while they were running from a "Jew Hunt" in Amsterdam?.

GaIadriel · 29/10/2025 23:17

Well, no doubt there are those that use it as a cover for racism. There are also those that aren't thrilled about crimes being committed by people who shouldn't be here. Like young mums getting stabbed 20 times in the head with a screwdriver, 12yo girls being beheaded after being sexually abused and tortured, and large scale mob assaults with 1200 women sexually assaulted and 500 estimated rapes in one evening.

This kind of stuff doesn't really endear you to the people whose taxes are paying for your upkeep.

GaIadriel · 29/10/2025 23:31

England is an incredibly racist, misogynist country.

So, which countries should we look up to?

Most of Europe is much more racist than we are - Italians, Eastern Europeans, etc. The Indians I used to work with used to say some pretty nasty stuff about Pakistanis and vice versa. My Muslim workmate doesn't like Jews. My Lithuanian workmate doesn't seem to like anybody that isn't white. A Thai women I used to know (well off, owns a successful restaurant) doesn't like Chinese people or black/brown people. Japanese people are known to be pretty racist towards black people. Arabs/middle eastern countries are well known for exploiting and abusing Filipino maids in a way that wouldn't be deemed acceptable over here.

There is racism in most countries/cultures and wokeness is primarily a thing of the UK/US.

I mean...you kind of made my point.

It's illegal but only 1.4% of people are convicted. what a flipping joke.

Were the 1.4% migrants?

Maybe Afghani and Somali men are more likely to be convicted of a crime...versus what you suggest which is that they are inherently more criminal...

All stats show white men commit the most violent crimes...but I'm sure you've some statistic to explain why that's ok.

I didn't think suggesting being tougher in sexual violence would be at all controversial. But you've proved my point really - sexual violence by certain men is NOT ok to a reform voter.

But other men... well what can you do?

I'm stunned today, the Irish Tánaiste has actually said that the concerns about immigration being too high are valid and that people need to be listened to!

I knew the discourse would have to right itself eventually and people would have to stop pushing the lie that 'it's just racism' but I didn't expect this yet.

Britain is actually soft on crime in general, all crimes. So I highly doubt any changes are going to happen culturally. They literally just believe criminals can be reformed and that the point of prison is rehabilitation (instead of keeping them the FUCK away from the rest of us)

Many prisoners have aligned themselves on a sectarian basis. Not much rehabilitation going on with the terrorists held at Franklin prison for example.

I have no idea how you think I’ve ‘proved your point’ - absolute nonsense.

The point, which you have totally missed is this:

If they (men with a propensity to violence entering this country) are not here, they can’t hurt us.

The government needs to work out how to stop them being here.

I don’t know what to say to people who think that violence committed by local men is as easy to prevent as violence committed by foreign men.

One takes a lot of time and effort to resolve. The other is easy: just don’t let them in, and if they should sneak in, swiftly deport.

As for whether men from more violent, misogynistic cultures are more likely to commit sex crimes? Well, isn’t it obvious? I can’t believe people are innocently asking this question, pretending not to understand when our safety is at risk.

You've proved my point because

Only 1.4% of acts lead to a conviction here.

And your solution isn't to address the systematic reasons that lead to this.

But make sure no brown men (who may or may not commit this type of crime) can enter the country.

I imagine your head is hurting just trying to understand my point.

Your brain - 98.6% if all sexual violence leads to no consequence in the UK. Solution... stop letting migrants in!

I am appalled by the acts of violence commited by those in hotels by the way and completely agree with their deportation. They shouldn't be here. I don't want boat loads of people crossing the channel but we have NO other legal routes for them to come here.

NO ONE in reform is talking about reforming our systematic failures surrounding it - they are using these horrific individual acts as an excuse to "other" migrants and paint them ALL as inferior and vile and criminal.... Straight out of the nazi textbook about the "profile" of a Jew.

Why don't we give asylum seekers legal routes for get here? Then we could vet them... Reform has nothing to say about that

No one in Reform is talking about how to actually stop the boats.

It's ridiculous to say these men are from mysoginstic cultures incompatible with their attitude to women... all the while we have the rates of domestic and sexual violence we do...

To be clear... I don't want to import any more mysogny!!

I think you can do both. You can advocate to reform the UK justice system and also not want a mass increase of migrants in the country. Culturally these asylum seekers are from countries and cultures that aren't really compatible. We saw what happened in Uxbridge. We saw what happened in Essex. We don't need to have to keep letting people in.

It's not really about cultural compatibility in my opinion... People like to say it is... But if you look at British culture we've got a huge homegrown problem with the exact same issues.

Also, to be clear, I don't support uncontrolled migration. I totally agree with the issues raised.

Nowhere did I say we shouldn’t be addressing the ‘systematic reasons’ that lead to this.

Right at the moment though, while the CPS are more bothered about hounding women who advocate for their rights and we still have rather a large mountain to climb in addressing these ‘systematic reasons’, I’m looking at prevention at source.

Men who are not here are not hurting women here.

Many attempts to address ‘systematic reasons’ such as education etc are very long term and will be hampered by a constant influx of new men who are starting from scratch and laterally don’t even know that rape is illegal (or so they claim).

Now I think further along that line, there is a serious issue of ‘systemic reasons’ with a growing and extremely influential group who in parts (I shouldn’t have to keep saying it as it’s obvious but ‘not all Muslims’) have a major problem with women having rights. There are imams in this country right now who are calling for women to be stoned as punishment for transgressions. They ban women from ‘family’ fun runs and are still practising first cousin marriage, child and forced marriage and FGM, not to mention raping white girls. Men with these views are part of the Muslim community and are clearly influencing the government. Jess Phillips (45% Muslim constituency) trying to broaden the rape gangs inquiry into oblivion and Starmer refusing to support a bill banning first cousin marriage. Who else is beholden to them?

All bad for women, all need to be addressed. Allowing in more people from countries where these beliefs are prevalent unless we are clear that they are fleeing those beliefs is not going to help us.

Yes I did. And that's horrible. They should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I don't know if they were arrested, don't know if they'll even be brought to court let alone face a guilty verdict. My Google search says they were arrested?

But why should we as a country choose to add more criminals into our country? I remember the damage Sweden faced in 2015-2017, they record data by per capita and it clearly shows the ethnic born swedes commit less crimes per capita.
