I'm not suggesting any particular study. I'm am supportive of the coming studies and excited to read the results. Perhaps the placebo group will be babies born of families who were chasing on to vaccinate anyway - I have no idea as those details haven't been released. I

'm surprised that others are angry that scientific studies will be happening. People do get angry or dismissive (crazy anti science, anti vax etc) when people dare to talk about thorough testing of vaccines and it does tend to shut most up for fear of social rejection.

I wasn't calling anyone any names and would never denigrate people who disagree with me.

1 I am happy if genuine scientific studies will be done but I seriously doubt Trump, Kennedy et al would know anything about how to design and run such studies.
1a Thorough testing of vaccines is done BEFORE they are allowed on the market. Do you seriously SERIOUSLY think this is not done? Do you seriously think no investigations are done when claims are made about undetected side effects?

2 You were suggesting trials where large numbers of children aren’t given any kind of vaccination but just a placebo.

3 RFK Jr is head of the agency which used to employ people specifically because they have the correct qualifications to conduct clinical studies. Many have been sacked and replaced with those less qualified or unqualified.

I 1000% guarantee you proper inert placebo based trials of vaccines in the childhood vaccine schedule have not been done.

I don't disagree. Because doing so would be unethical because it would leave large numbers of kids exposed to killer diseases when vaccinations were available.

Why do you think they should do that?

CJsGoldfish · 22/09/2025 22:43

Nope.
This is clearly 'who' Americans are. They knew what they were getting and they knew what he would do and they wanted it.
There was a perfectly good candidate who could never have caused this much damage no matter how hard she tried, or didn't. Looking at the US now, and the fact that he has absolute power, you know they were never going to pick a woman, let alone a black one.
Don't try and shift blame. This is on those who decided this petty, racist, misogynistic dictator represented them best.

100% this. And sorry for the good Americans but the country is going to get worse before it gets better. The rest of the world better find a backbone and build their economies without depending on America.

If anyone is thinking of voting reform, this is what you'll get.
The end of democracy.

We needed our very own Temu Trump cos we like copying America. Want freedom, only to bow to America. The man is a joke 🙄 it’s mind boggling how many people vote for him.

You said they already have done the testing, and I know they haven't . I'm not sure what Dept of Health in the US will do for testing, however I'm looking forward to see the true safety profile of the vaccinations. I think we all should be watching with interest.

How do you feel they should create a proper safety profile of the vaccinations? I know one doctor compared the health outcomes of the vaccinated and unvaccinated patients in his clinic (it was their parents choice not to vaccinate, it wasn't orchestrated by him, just observed). It was several thousand children I think. I'm not sure how the US dept of HHS will move forward, however I am very much looking forward to getting more information on the side effects and safety of the childhood schedule.

Well the experiment is already happening given the drop in vaccine uptake rates. I can unfortunately guess the outcome for the kids involved in that test, including those who are too young or unable to be vaccinated and can no longer count on herd immunity. I truly, truly hope you’re right.

His own mother must have been on some heavy drugs before she had him to turn him into such a cunt.

Reports suggest his father that was the utter cunt. Which explains a lot (doesn’t forgive it).

What sort of lunatic would risk their child by entering them into a trial where they may be given a placebo?

HFR · 26/09/2025 10:27

RayonSunrise · 22/09/2025 22:11

I have found it curious that the Trump administration is referring to a specific brand name (Tylenol), not the American generic name (Acetaminophen).

Has Johnson & Johnson done something to piss Trump off? Maybe they’ve not raised their overseas drugs prices enough for him?

I’m surprised everyone here trusts big pharma. After the autism court case years ago I would never take calpol. It was a Harvard study so I’m not sure why people think trump is making it up - what does he have to gain anyway.

From the observational studies so far, it's looking like unvaccinated children have a greatly reduced risk of chronic disease and allergic illness like hay fever and asthma, which is interesting. Of course, everybody should definitely be encouraged to protect their children from disease and also be informed fully of any risks associated with vaccination too. Perhaps shots like Hep B at birth can be looked at more closely to see if they are necessary on day 1 for every newborn. I think bringing some of this information to light is a good thing and won't necessarily reduce vaccination rates, some of it might be quite positive about the vaccinations that are effective and have been shown to be safe over a long period of time.

childofthe607080s · 26/09/2025 10:45

id be surprised if that turned out to be true once all factors were taken into account but hayfever or death … not a hard choice really

Yes I read that too, you are also more likely to get allergies and so on if you have a c section and formula feed. It’s good to know the information so you can make informed decisions.

It's funny that you keep repeating yourself, but don't bother answering questions.

Why do you assume this administration will do anything not already being done, other than create what I guess is a random group of unvaxxed children?

Why do you believe they cancelled or defunded already existing studies?

How do you feel about RFK having fired, or caused the quitting of, the majority of qualified scientist and doctors at HHS and replaced them with science deniers?

How do you feel about the cuts to cancer research, including paediatric brain cancer research?

Considering that MRNA technology has shown great promise at treating cancer, including pancreatic cancer, and just this week showed a breakthrough in Huntington's Disease, with potential implications for Parkinson's, MND and MS, how do you feel about RFK cancelling that research?

While touting a $50 million initiative to identify the causes of autism, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is helping lead an administration that is rolling back protections against pollution and toxic chemicals, including some linked to the condition.

It’s not about trusting them. It’s about weighing up the evidence available and deciding what’s most likely based on that. But you’re correct to consider the source of information. Trump?

Observational studies?

And vaccine rates are already dropping resulting in measles outbreaks. Babies too young to be vaccinated and those who are immunocompromised have caught it as a result.

What do you think of polio coming back?

If it had been Simone other than Trump what would the reaction be? Any drugs taken when you are pregnant can have a negative effect.

What, another powerful person, shooting their mouth off in an anti-scientific way about something they’re not qualified to speak on? Exactly the same I would have thought.

Yes there’s a book called “vax facts” where a doctor compares the unvaccinated to the vaccinated. I can’t say the results on here for obvious reasons but I recommend the book if you want to look at the other side of the argument.

The obvious reason being misinformation?
