I've also been aware of him for many years, having been born and raised in NYC and worked as a lawyer there for many years. I do respect the work he did as an environmentalist, but it ends with that, and I find it disappointing that he's now turned his back on the cause he held so dear. My views of him have not come about recently, nor as a result of 'mainstream media,' although they have been solidified by both reporting and as a result of having watched quite a lot of his recent testimony and questioning.
You come across on here, at least, as considerably more reasonable than most of the people I've run across who support him. And you're right, it's unlikely to make me change my viewpoint, but it is why I'm interested in your replies to the questions I've asked.
How do you feel about his cuts to cancer research, including childhood brain cancer?
What makes you feel that he and the people around him will conduct reliable studies?
How do you feel about his firing/forcing the resignation of the medics/scientists involved with the HHS?
and another - Since MRNA technology has shown huge promise in fighting cancer, specifically pancreatic, which has one of the worst outcomes of any cancers, how do you feel about him cancelling MRNA research?
