Backlash against Trans women

ITVeveningnewsclip · 18/09/2025 19:24

(Story on ITV news about drag performer who died after taking drug ketamine, not suicide, just a regular user it seems who took more than usual.) Thus post isn't about him.

Anyway, bloke during story moaned that 'we are currently seeing a backlash against trans at the moment, particularly trans women' (men), and 'that's not a world I want to live in'.

I mean seriously, the TRA has been abusive to women for years for even mentioning any concerns, yet now trans women are victims (again). Perpetual victims it seems. These men are frankly ridiculous. I get fed up of the men in dresses and their victimhood.

If her claim of self defence was accepted, she wouldn't have been jailed. The most recent case of self defense is know of that went to trial was the killing of the rapper, Hypo.

You are so insufferably ignorant! There are many women in prison for killing in self defence!

Are you a TIM or TRA

The girls forced to change in front of a male. You keep ignoring it....

https://www.facebook.com/FoxNews/posts/this-isnt-right-cassidy-carlisle-says-she-was-forced-to-change-in-a-locker-room-/1054820733174455/

'Alice' along with 'LoftyRobin' is clearly a misogynistic TRA and MRA, if not a transwoman (and most of those narcissists have zero feeling for females). Funny how transwomen all choose feminine names in their handles.... It's a dead giveaway.

And thank you for bringing the receipts. That poster can no longer deny which is right in front of them. I bet they wish they hadn't asked. If we were on twitter, these men would block straight after we give them the evidence and receipts they asked for! It's like they never expect that us women have the receipts and have followed all this for years and know what we are talking about! We're just silly wimmen, innit.

Hearsay, once again. 'mom says' so no actual examples of this happening.

Helleofabore · 22/09/2025 13:27

Blimey. It is noticeable the cherry picking selection that are dismissed.

Next we will be told that the WiSpa incident didn’t happen and that a naked man with a semi erect penis didn’t get into a spa bath with a 9 year old girl. That it was all just hearsay.

oh. And don’t look girls and women! That will be next. That no one was ‘forced’ to look and notice a boy or male in their single sex space.

Naunet · 22/09/2025 13:58

Alicealig · 21/09/2025 18:46

So not forced to change in front of anyone then. As per the article they were offered alternative changing spaces were it a genuine cause of worry or concern but obviously all decided they were actually OK getting changed in the same space the trans person. It's a non issue unless you decide to make it such.

And if you ignore the law of course...

Males dont belong in women's spaces, there's no good reason for allowing them.

It feels like that. Its never the male that is wrong, only the girls and women. Why should men be in females private spaces, they shouldn't.

Can you give any examples of that actually happening except for saying that it is and hypothetical. No one is ever forced to change in front of anyone.

The sooner people stop whining and complaining on behalf of others the better. This was NEVER an issue 15 years ago, nor does it need to be one now. No laws have been changed so what's all the needless upset and hysteria about?

Yes!

How many examples would you like?

How many countries would you like these examples to be drawn from?

Do you want them to be from this year alone or would you like a longitudinal sample?

State your parameters and many of us will get back to you with specifics...

SamphiretheTervosaur · 22/09/2025 17:08

LoftyRobin · 21/09/2025 17:45

First it was making out the sex offender woman was man, and now it is arguing that a crazed killer should have been let out sooner. What the very fuck mumsnet.

The specific sex offender is a man

You ARE saying that women should put up with sexual assault in prison because they are criminals. Other women sexually assaulted have been shoplifters etc... now make your point again!

they. are. not. going. to. pick. you.

You are useful to them. Until you aren'T. At that point, btw, women will have your back. Pity you don't have other women's backs because you're too busy doing the pick me dance.

It such misogyny when women believe that women can only have opinions to suit men. Its ironic how many people sink to the most vile forms of misogyny in their quest to protect women. This is probably why many women, especially those from the most marginalised demographics will say that the worst treatment they've had as a woman has come from other women themselves.

Imagine that you hate men so much, and are so keen to be right, that you shit on other women while claiming to stand up to them. We are really are own worst enemies.

I wont be replying to anyone in this thread so dont bother quote me. You'll just be screaming into a void.

If you are prioritising the desires of men over the needs of women - then what else are we supposed to conclude?

You obviously are having opinions to suit men.

And this is never screaming into a void, btw. We are always very aware of lurkers and how they are engaging quietly with what's going on.

LoftyRobin · 23/09/2025 14:16

Because of course women are way too stupid to have a thought about an issue that might be supportive on one group of people without it being to do with their pathological and pathetic need to gain favour with said group. It can't be because a woman has come to that conclusion through their own experiences and values. It has to be because she wants to be liked by the man
Women are so shallow and fickle like that. And as women, we should always make sure we publicly accuse any woman we disagree with of just wanting emotional intimacy and attachment to try and shame them into shutting up.

Girl Power!

LoftyRobin · 23/09/2025 14:18

The best way to support women is to deny that women have anything but a monolithic opinion and belittle and degrade ANY WOMAN who dares step out of line. Including denying their very womanhood. That's the way to do it! Feminish 2025.

Why do you think women should give up their rights to single sex spaces to appease men then?

We keep men out for reasons of safety and dignity for women. On what grounds would we make an exception for one particular group of men?

No one is asking for a monolith opinion, simply to respect other women's needs and safety.

You don't get to give away women's rights to their own spaces without their consent.

Okay one quote just to explain the problem

I DON'T THINK MEN SHOULD BE IN WOMEN'S SPACES.

but I also dont think that women that disagree with me are scum, are men, or deserve to be called names and vile insinuations about their character and conduct. I dont think this is the right way to behave because I'm a feminist, not just some monster who bullies anyone who disagrees with me.

Great. We agree.

As I personally haven't done anything you've mentioned there, why is all that directed at me?

utter piffle.

I am a 2nd wave feminist. All the dick pandering gets on my tits.

RedToothBrush · 23/09/2025 16:02

Men who call themselves women are not being backlashed against.

They are being told "no" for the first time and they are being told they can't change sex, because they can't.

We were told "no debate" about questioning all these men ignoring and disrespecting women, so we've had to start being firm.

This isn't a backlash. This is upholding women's rights from men who have sought to remove them illegally.

Women don't need alternative changing spaces, they just need their own changing spaces to be free of males, as per the law.

The only people who need alternative changing spaces are the tiny minority who, for whatever reason, believe it would be against their human rights to have to get changed alongside other members of their own sex.

Let them get changed in a disused cupboard. Not women.

Isn't it funny that women have been dealing with this Trans bullshit for years.

And mostly it was just let slide, all the violent threats, all of the indignity, all of the assaults, and injustice.

Now though, now these creeps are a problem for men (killing a MAN, trying to get MEN to sleep with them, harassing/tricking MEN, inconveniencing MEN). Now it isn't funny anymore and there is backlash.

Fuck me, it drives home that women just don't matter doesn't it?

I mean I am happy to see the gender bullshit crumbling. But it pisses me right the fuck off that it took them bothering MEN before society actually gave a damn.

It will probably end up women's fault though. Both ways.

As is always the way. Society is essentially deeply, deeply misogynistic.

I always think of that quote:-

When society will believe a man who says he's a woman over a woman who says he's not then it proves that society knows EXACTLY who the men are and EXACTLY who the women are.

Pisses me off too that we are regarded as secondary to all men's needs and wants. Gender ideology has been another stick to beat women with and men are only voicing concerns now when it impacts them. Women essentially just do not matter. We are never seen as human beings in our own right. We are, and sadly I suspect always will be in my lifetime, sub human in the eyes of men. Even the good ones like my dad or my DH don't really get it. Husband listened to nick Wallis talking about it and he's said he now realises what I mean. Only took a man talking about it to make him see. Never mind that I've been banging on about it these past few years to him, showing him all the times women have raised concerns. Of course it's a man that peaks him. Of COURSE...

Well as you are choosing to prioritise the wants of a group of men over the needs of women whilst ignoring the harms to those women and scolding those who point out the harms of your luxury beliefs its clear that you're the misogynist here not the women that you are scolding
