Are you getting a pay rise this year?

Ours works out as around £55-60 a month extra after tax, I know it's better than nothing but bills, mortgage , transport etc. Will outweigh it..
Anyone else?

Civil service so again, below inflation is expected.
Getting pretty sick of it to be honest.

Ours is always in Jan but this year it was a 1.5% payrise and expecting the same again. Utility increases more than immediately swallowed it up!

3.6% , nhs. Most of it went on tax and pension arrears.

No, mine is a university and they are laying people off left, right and centre. I’m trying to be grateful to have a job but it really is the pits.

3.2% and I get it paid this month.
As it's backdated to April, that likely wipes out October's UC- whoopee doo!

I also had an email today from my energy company to say my bill is increasing; my car insurance goes up next month... You can see where I'm going with this ☹️.

Just handed my resignation in after 3 years working for employers. No pay rise since 2022, I am earning barely more than minimum wage now.
I'm almost 63 and a single parent to 2 ASD adults so had to make a change.

Been offered a 1.4% below inflation pay rise. Same as the last few years. Union are talking about strikes.
