No this year was good. The last few before this were not. It’s not usual to have a good summer here, it’s lucky if we do..

In the South East they've been mostly good. Although interpretation varies. At some point in the middle of summer last year I said it was a good one and I was told I was wrong and couldn't be enjoying it even when I was literally in the middle of it.

Interpretation and what one views as a good summer is definitely personal.

Statistically though last summer was cooler and wetter than average and for some areas the coolest summer since 2015.

There was the odd, very brief heatwave. Think mid August and September was nice.

It’s still pretty warm here - SE. TBH this afternoon it was warmer out than in. It was windy, but the wind was noticeably warm.
