Be absolutely honest, would you consider only fans/sex work if it guaranteed you’d be rich?

If you were being 100% honest hypothetically. Would you consider sex work/only fans/webcam work if you could guarantee you’d become rich.

Obviously completely hypothetical because in reality most of us probably wouldn’t be able to make much money, we’ve probably got children to consider, you might already be well off.

But if it was the difference between working in a job you hate until retirement, or doing sex work for 10 years and then being able to retire a millionaire, if it was safe and you only had yourself to please. Could you forget your morals and do it? Do you think you could live with it?

Yabu - no
Yanbu - you’d consider it.

If you would consider it, do you think you’re a highly sexualised person anyway, maybe multiple sexual partners, able to separate sex from emotions.

That vote is depressing.
Clearly, one third of women would sell other women down the river for cash.

Zanatdy · 04/09/2025 17:49

If I had the body and the confidence - maybe. But I doubt i’d last long as men do my head in!

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 04/09/2025 17:49

No- makes me physically sick!

Morningswim · 04/09/2025 17:50

The problem is "if it was safe" takes you pretty heavily into unrealistic territory

Why are they "selling other women down the river"?

It's probably a good point but I am only half awake!

NameChange23456790 · 04/09/2025 17:51

No I think it would destroy me mentally .

Orangemintcream · 04/09/2025 17:51

No. I have great tits and arse but I wouldn’t do it.

Not even OF anonymously.

AdoraBell · 04/09/2025 17:52

Definitely No.

AliceMaforethought · 04/09/2025 17:53

No, I have self respect.

ohyesido · 04/09/2025 17:54

Yes, if it meant I could get a decent income with little to no effort

JustPinkFinch · 04/09/2025 17:54

I would do any and all sex work out of necessity, but not to get rich. But then, if I was an MP, I would never vote for any laws that would make sex work more dangerous in the UK, like the recent attempts Antonazzi failed to get through. Talk about trying to sell women down the river...

MsOlive · 04/09/2025 15:27

No, it would sicken me. I wouldn’t last 10 minutes let alone 10 years.

Completely agree. I tried the chat lines ( phone sex) years ago and hated it; it gave me the ick. Only lasted a couple of days.

PrincessASDaisy · 04/09/2025 17:54

Yes. I’m tired of working long hours for a basic existence.

Chickenintheoven · 04/09/2025 17:55

I couldn’t - there is no amount of money that would make it tempting.

each to their own but definitely not for me.

LarkspurLane · 04/09/2025 17:59

Presumably if yes, then you'd be fine with your father/partner/sons viewing and paying for content like that?

Oldrockchic · 04/09/2025 18:00

Only fans yes, sex work no.

I hate to break this to you about your dearest male relatives...

333FionaG · 04/09/2025 18:03

The only way for a non-celeb person to get rich from sex work, is to provide niche content, and that involves gross and disgusting stuff. I have too much self respect and would rather be skint, working for NMW, than earning ££££££££££ providing scat and other revolting videos.

CeciliaDuckiePond · 04/09/2025 18:03

I would be concerned about the safety implications of having such a prominent online presence and that would probably outweigh any benefits for me, so no.

I am quite creative and in terms of content I think I could do well catering for different fantasies etc. and it might be interesting as a job. I'm not convinced that taking a moral stand against it would achieve much, as people who want sexual content online will find it somewhere, and, arguably, better it's me they find choosing to do it and making (in your hypothesis) a very good living from it, than some trafficked person being forced to do it, or someone underage.

However, I'm in my 50s and was never an object of very much desire even in my prime, so in reality even if I took this path, I doubt I'd even make min wage from it.

PansyPotter84 · 04/09/2025 18:04

Never.

Not a chance.

Though I respect others’ freedom of choice to do as they wish with their bodies, this would be against my personal code.

LetsTryAgainNowThen · 04/09/2025 18:06

No, the money wouldn't compensate for my loss of morals. But I've sometimes thought, if I had no morals, I'd be a great stripper, because I'm confident dancing, acting and comfortable being naked!

AgentPidge · 04/09/2025 18:08

No. It would make me feel dirty (not in a good way!).

MonsterBoo · 04/09/2025 18:19

The more this is normalised and accepted, the worse society becomes for women. In general.
