Cats a dickhead 🤣

Anyone else got a cat that’s a complete dickhead.

I have one very well behaved older cat and we recently decided to add another one to the mix.

He is an absolute terror 🤣. We leave for holiday tomorrow and I finished deep cleaning the house for the house sitter. Put everything away.

Walk back into the kitchen and he has somehow found (I have no idea how as they are kept in an enclosed glass jar) a tea bag.

Hes ripped it open and dragged it across three rooms leaving a trail of it everywhere. Got an emergency appointment at the vet incase he’d ingested it.

He’s fine.

Every day something 🤣🤣 picture of the culprit attached

He’s a very pretty cat even if he’s a handful! Have a great holiday

Shelly369 · 31/08/2025 12:12

Well, he clearly posed for that angelic photo!

PotNoodleBeefAndTomato · 31/08/2025 12:45

That’s no dickhead! He is adorable 🥰. Gorgeous photo.

Mylittlebobble · 31/08/2025 12:46

I'd like to tickle those spots on his belly. I wonder what would happen if I tried? 😁

Wineinthegarden · 31/08/2025 12:47

I think tea leaves were a way of cleaning rugs many years ago? Maybe he was just trying to help in a Victorian fashion?

Chester23 · 31/08/2025 12:47

😂 I always say mines and arsehole. Someone at work said that was horrible, went to someone else with a cat and first thing she said was hers is an arsehole 😂.
(When it uploads) I have attached a photo of said arsehole being an arsehole. I had just cleaned up 🤦‍♀️

How cute is that cat!

shellyleppard · 31/08/2025 12:49

Gorgeous puddy....looks quite young 😍

Vogt · 31/08/2025 12:53

Three rooms - that's a pro at work 😸

Definitely this, they only care about how they can help.

Mumofsoontobe3 · 31/08/2025 13:02

Oh look at that little sweet face, like butter wouldn't melt! 🥰
I too have a dickhead cat, actually I have 3. One is more chaotic than the others though, he likes to sneak into my poor neighbours house and have a sneak at what's for dinner, once dragging a piping hot piece of chicken through the cat flap. Thankfully DN seen the humour in it. I've recently been sent a photo of said cat snuggling up next to her massive German Shepard. No, she doesn't have a cat and the dog hasn't been socialised with cats. I don't have a dog either. Cat just fancied a cuddle and found the hottest and cosiest thing outside. They were having a snuggle in the garden in the sunshine just a few weeks ago! 🌞
I have a really wonderful neighbour though and she loves them. We now send Christmas presents to each others pets. Wrapped and all. 😂

JustAboutMuddlingThrough · 31/08/2025 13:21

Thankfully the Cat is fairly normal. It’s the dog that’s a complete dickhead. This morning she got hold of a used sanitary towel and ran round the garden like an absolute loon before eating the flaming thing 🤢

My In-laws can beat the teabag incident:

Cat slept in the kitchen overnight. In-laws had a tea leaf dispenser thing on the wall of the kitchen that you pressed a button on to get the required amount of tea leaves for the pot (you can see where this is going can't you). During the night the cat decided to allow the tea leaves to escape by pressing said button and whacking the tea leaves as they came out, this process continued until the dispenser was empty. In-laws got up in the morning to make their morning cuppa to find the kitchen covered in tea leaves and one very smug cat sitting there saying Look at my work!.

AtlanticStar · 31/08/2025 13:32

Gorgeous photo. Is the cat not happy to be sharing space with another cat? Ours wouldn't tolerate any other cat. Is she kicking off in protest?? Also, can I have your cat?

By the way @PlacidPenelope

Please can you get them to put a camera up in their kitchen!

SitOnHisFaceIfHeDiesHeDies · 31/08/2025 13:46

He's magnificent 😍

OakleyStreetisnotinChelsea · 31/08/2025 13:56

Mine is an utter twat. Wouldn't have him any other way. Bin raiding idiot that he is. He loves to leave small collections of internal organs in strategic places on the floor ready for us to squish our bare toes in to in the morning while bleary eyed and not paying attention. I do so love the feel of entails around my toes.

Cats a dickhead 🤣
Matsukaze · 31/08/2025 13:56

Ahhh he is too cute! What's his name and how old is he?

I got a kitten last year and he was a total dickhead but thankfully has calmed down a lot now!

I've just got a kitten who is terrorising the household, scratching and biting everything despite plenty of scratching posts, climbing trees, cardboard scratches and lots of playtime!

Sadly Cat is no longer with us.

He had many weird phoibles - only a small Fairy Liquid bottle was allowed on the draining board, not a large one. MIL had to make sure her special little knife was hidden if left out it would end up under the cooker. In-Laws stopped using the tea leaf dispenser after the incident!

Ahh, I’m sorry. He sounded like a proper character, bless him.
