What do you think of the flags?

Apologies if this has been done already.

I live in one of the areas where the flags were started. We couldn’t understand what they were for until it popped up in the news. Apparently the councils are going to be taking them down.

I don’t really have much of an opinion either way but my concern is that they’ll soon become tatty, fall down and leave a mess everywhere. But it seems lots of people are loving them. They do look quite cheery at the moment.

What do people think?

It’s the INTENTION behind the display of flag. Not the flag itself.

If anything the flag shaggers are ruining our lovely flag by constantly using it as a nationalist symbol.

It's certainly tedious listening to it, especially when you've been presented with the facts demonstrating that you're wrong.

There are approximately 70m in the UK and at the end of last year around 500k were refugees and as of March this year just over 100k claimed asylum. Can you explain how this comparatively tiny number is overtaking the UK?

The UK isn't being taken over by anyone. The UK is ruled by the same people it has been for centuries - the flaccid German royals and the braying upper class like Farage and Powell before him. They love it when there's a sufficient critical mass of useful idiots to do their bidding by identifying bogeyman outsiders so people turn on each other while the already rich build their fortunes. This year the idiots are scaling lampposts to fly upside down flags at half mast.

I'm British. The people feeling threatened by these flags are British. Some of us have been unfortunate enough to witness the violence on residents that tends to happen shortly after lampposts spring flags.

To all normal, non-racist British Mnetters, as yet unaffected, be aware that this situation is growing at an alarming rate .. It will darken your doorstep probably very soon so prepare yourself for the racists that will try to wreck your area.

I wouldn't go so far as to say we are being wiped out but we are certainly being ground into the dust by the likes of Farage. Have you seen how much money him and his pals have made, since Brexit? While the rest of us worry about how expensive butter is now? Millionaires' and billionaires' wealth is increasing exponentially, thanks to the miracle of compound interest in the hyperinflated economy that Brexit gave us, as was always the plan, and the plebs are climbing lampposts to distract us other plebs on the ground from the outright theft happening in front of us.
