Not really gossip but there are a couple "secrets" in my life. My daughter gave birth to twin girls 8 years ago and only 3 other people know this, my mother, sister and one close friend. The babies were adopted and it was a very heartbreaking experience. The second "secret" is that recently I have inherited a large sum of money. My siblings know because we share the inheritance but I don't plan to tell anyone else.

Years ago,I had two friends who where slightly older than me

I was also very vulnerable and they took full advantage of this

They tried to control every single thing I did/spent money on/brought up my dc/decorated my house/clothes we wore etc

They dumped me when I grew a backbone and slagged me off to anyone who would listen and I lost a lot of friends

They caused so much trouble for me,I almost had a breakdown

I know that woman A only married her husband (and had two daughters with him) as he had a good job and has a minted family

If he'd been a bloke who had less money/assets she wouldn't have looked twice at him-the plan is to stay with him until the youngest is 18(and get a long marriage out of it so she'll walk away with more,plus she doesnt want to be a single parent) and then she's taking him 'for everything he's got' (her words not mine) and he's the sort to give her everything just because he loves her

She freely admits she has to 'grit her teeth' while having sex with him but to the outside world,they have a perfect marriage and are made for each other

The other fancies herself as an erotica writer

Most of the stories she's 'made up out of her head' are actually the affairs she's had behind her fellas back

She's a real life dorien green (birds of a feather)

i know dorien had an unhappy marriage in birds,and had lovers to fill the gap but this womans bloke would do anything for her and utterly adores her

She left her (then young) children to be with him (and had more dc with him) and is shagging anything that moves while he's hard at work in his two jobs or sat at home while she goes out with 'the girls' (she's not,she's in bed with one of her lovers)

She just loves the thrill of getting away with it apparently

They both know I could blow their lives up tomorrow and avoid me like I have the plague but flap their mouths thinking I don't know what's said about me

I won't say anything as it's not fair on two,hard working and decent men but it's tempting as both women have accused me of what they do themselves

It was the wife sleeping with the richer person. It was probably the husband who suggested ENM!

I kept some of my Dad's ashes back as I knew 'the scattering of the ashes' would turn into an absolute circus with my family and various hangers on.

I want to put them on the exact spot where we used to sit and watch the trains, having a picnic and him telling me stories of when he was a kid.

I have never met a man as good as my Dad and I know I never will.

Out of the blue, a close relative appeared on Ancestry. Turns out he was my grandfather's love child from 1935

Not sure, actually, whether you would have been too excited to be related though. I have two murderers in my family - 3x gt grandfather and gt grandfather... first one stabbed his daughter's boyfriend to death in Pudsey in the 1830s, second one, in Herefordshire, shot the butler under the influence of booze and cocaine.

My manager is having an affair with a manager from another department in the same building 👀

The individual concerned had been schmoozing management BIG TIME, trying to ensure they got the promotion that 3 of us were going for through nefarious means. IF they had genuinely been the best for the job, that would have been OK. But they weren't. I wasn't either, to be fair (I just wanted it!). I was quite happy with the person that actually got it. They were very enthusiastic and a good choice.

I didn't actually know that time that my sounding off to someone would result in X not getting the job. BUT it did teach me a lesson about how to have an influence without putting myself in the line of fire.

Please tell your brother to be super careful about hygiene with his menagerie, and keep them away from the family. Some reptiles carry salmonella. I knew a family where the baby ended up seriously ill and hospitalised because of salmonella infection as a large lizard was allowed the run of the house.

My boss is pregnant.

She doesn't know that I know.

I know a couple from parents at school where every Sunday the wife gets up amd goes to the gym for a few hours and a local 22 year old comes round the house and makes the husband breakfast in her underwear. They don't sleep together but she just cleans and cooks and acts all subservient in lacy underwear for him. She goes home. Wife comes back. Wife has full knowledge. Every Sunday.

One of my friends/work colleagues are pregnant. When she goes back to work (she's a teacher) she will be 16 weeks pregnant and will need to tell her head teacher. It will be a MASSIVE shock. It was when she told me, was gobsmacked and didn't see it coming.

We already have one crucial member of the team off on maternity, I've just retired and there are staff that will struggle to pick up the slack and know what to do.

I would love to be a fly on the wall when she tells him.

The utter psycho bitch manager who has made my life a misery for too long and who has made me cry several times is standing down soon.

I once a couple of years back heard my 79 year old mother having multiple “O”s down the phone 😱..to explain, she lived alone, 70 miles away, isn’t in the best of health, incontinent. She rang me one morning saying she was laid on settee (slept there all night) and couldn’t stop “O”ing and could I help her make it stop, ring 111 etc all while about every 3 seconds going “eewww ahhh” in my ear 🙈😱 she didn’t know why it was happening, definitely wasn’t doing it to herself and please help!! (The most awful thing I’ve ever heard in my life hearing her “O”) I said please don’t make me ring 111 (knew there wasn’t anything they could do! And for embarrassment reasons from my end!) anyway I had no choice and had to ring them. Luckily for me when I got through it was another woman on the end 😂 I explained and said I know it sounds bizarre and couldn’t help and started laughing at the end, the woman also let out a little giggle. Anyway she kept me on the phone and contacted mum, I left them to it! I rang her later to see what happened and turns out 111 got the ambulance service to ring her 😱..anyway obviously there was nothing they could do and it did subside when she pee’d herself and seemed a full bladder was the cause. I’m convinced that the story will have been the butt of jokes and shared for a while in the 111 and ambulance service!
