Boring

BigOldBlobsy · 10/08/2025 15:02

I think they both look stunning!

WhyDoBIrdsSuddenly · 10/08/2025 15:02

Wow, just googled pics of her at the Met Gala and I think she looks sensational. What a fresh look and her bone structure is to die for.

Using "ageing" as a synonym for "unattractive" is so prejudiced and stale. Ageing isn't a bad thing. It's just part of life and it comes to us all unless we are no longer around!

Serpentstooth · 10/08/2025 15:02

Good luck to her, she's not here to please our eyes.

CunningPlanMaster · 10/08/2025 15:07

HAS NO ONE READ THE OP??

OP is saying Pamela looks amazing! What’s she’s saying is that the look is hard for everyone else to pull off that doesn’t have great bones etc? Us lesser beings with no make up and bobs can’t pull it off

BreakingBroken · 10/08/2025 15:09

Polished, nice bone structure and living on Vancouver Island, yes she’s looking very west coast Canadian vs American.

zaazaazoom · 10/08/2025 15:10

I will tell you what's wrong with looking old. For all those asking.
Nothing.

Missanimosity · 10/08/2025 15:11

Belladog1 · 10/08/2025 14:53

People can wear whatever they want to wear and look however they want to look. But do I think Pamela looks good at the moment? No. I think she looks pale and washed out.

In the movie she is promoting she looks stunning, but i dont like her natural look right now.

And as another poster said, SJP looks great.

I am pale and washed out without make up. Question: what is wrong with being pale? Isn't it the same as saying someone is black? Would you tell someone looks a bit black today and need some make up? No. I am also sick of people telling me you need a tan. No. I Don't. I'm pale and I like my complexion, thank you. Pam looks fabulous, I love her look and I love that she is glowing. You can see that she is in a place where she loves herself, nothing sexier than a woman who is confident and doesen't give a monkeys what others say.

declutteringmymind · 10/08/2025 15:12

I think she looks fabulous. Because she’s happy I think.

Excellent question. No one ever seems able to answer it. “That makes you look older” - and? So what?

Completely agree. People act like it's a fault to look your age.

Americano75 · 10/08/2025 15:17

She's shagging Liam Neeson and he looks on top of the world. She's fabulous.

ilovesushi · 10/08/2025 15:18

She is beautiful, and I love seeing beautiful older women comfortable in their own skin. I have no expectations that I would look anything like her. Why would I? But it is encouraging to see that beauty can transcend age and being a beautiful older woman doesn't mean mimicking youth.

DiscoBob · 10/08/2025 15:19

I'd like to see a happy medium between pneumatic, extension wearing, showgirl style make up Pammy, and make up free weird haircut Pammy.

She's really beautiful. I just think it's like she's gone from full OTT glam to deliberately a bit drab looking, so it doesn't feel that natural. It still feels like she's doing it for attention a bit. I guess her eyebrows are the thing I dislike about her face. There's no need for them to be so thin. Not like a Scouse brow, but something in the middle somewhere!

I love her though.

Rowlinginthedeepanddeeper · 10/08/2025 15:19

Hilarious that half of the commenters haven't read the actual body of my post, but hey ho. I don't think I said anywhere that it's awful to look "old," but I'm not sure that many of you virtue-wagers would intentionally choose hairstyles that make you look older. I could be wrong.

The bob and how it's styled could be very 80s nan if you do not have PA's bone structure, and style is mostly what I was thinking.

Yep. I hate the negativity around pale skin. Washed out, Ill, tired, ghostly, could do with a bit of lippy, a bit of mascara.

heard it all my life. I like my pale skin, and I like it without makeup up.

i think Pam looks wonderful.

No i wouldnt choose a bob.................because i take the advice of my hairdresser who told me as i have very thick hair it would end up looking triangle like. Nothing to do with age

I have very thick hair. I wear it in a soft bob, doesn’t look triangle like a triangle at all.

I read and understood your post. The fact that you were applying the 'aging' thing to the rest of women (the mere mortals) rather than Pamela Anderson doesn't make any difference tbh. I'm not a 'virtue-wager', I just find it a bit tiresome that it's always assumed that the priority with hair and fashion is to look younger.

In my professional opinion, a skilled hairstylist can adapt a bob haircut to suit various hair types. The suggestion of a triangular shape often indicates a deficiency in the stylist's expertise. Valid reasons for a stylist to advise against a bob might include the need for frequent maintenance and styling, particularly for thick hair, or if the style is not complementary to the client's facial structure.

Personally I dont want to look younger, I just want to look the best version of myself.

BetweenTwoFerns · 10/08/2025 14:47

Why would you think she hadn’t read it?

Because she said PA looks great

Bambamhoohoo · 10/08/2025 15:34

She obviously looks great and couldn’t care less what other women look like with her hair style or what they think of her look.

let’s face it OP none of us could pull off Pammys look when we were 23 so why would we be able to now?

VintageDiamondGirl · 10/08/2025 15:34

It’s kind of a Pixie cut; looks great on women of all ages. Pam has been brave to transform her look and she looks brilliant. It’s up to people what they do but hanging on to how you looked at 36 is often far more ‘aging’.

Ponoka7 · 10/08/2025 15:34

youreactinglikeafunmum · 10/08/2025 14:57

Imo

I do think that long hair (tbf, healthy long hair) makes a woman look younger

That said, look at frankie bridge, she nails short hair, so agree it doesn't apply to everyone

Although I think thay in the case of Pamela, I did prefer her longer hair

Frankie Bridge, the 36 year old Frankie Bridge? Is 36 now aged? She's twenty one years younger than PA.
I'm the same age as PM and my greys are coming through more quickly. If I go down the hairdresser dye route, rather than my home dye, then I'll have to go shorter to counteract the damage. It's possibly what PA has done. I started home dye kits because I can't be bothered to sit in the hairdressers for two hours, again PM might be minimising that. She can style at home, now it's the cut it is.
