The whole dating game is grim and I’m not even looking for a date/guy.

There’s a FB page called something like make friends uk and it’s just awful, no seedy comments really but young girls posting their pics and just an influx of old men trying to come on to them. Makes me cringe so much.

I know - one profile said "I'm a primary school teacher" so we started chatting, I gave him my number (now I realise this was very naïve of me) - then after some very normal chat about what we did with our day, I got sent videos of him wanking in the shower and dick pics. I had just asked him if he was really a primary school teacher and he said he was... followed by a tirade of filth whilst I was saying "Please stop!!!". I blocked him and for two days afterwards walked around looking at men thinking they're all horrible pervs 😂

This actually kind of pales in comparison to OLD profiles I've seen on which they have picture of themselves with their exes with devil horns drawn on, white out which seems meant to look like semen, Hitler mustaches, etcetera.
In all of those profiles they claimed to be "laid back" or "easygoing" and requested "no drama." 😆

Full disclosure; I used to make something of a study of OLD profiles looking for patterns. The doctored photos of exes weren't that common. What was common; photos of themselves with motorcycles, cool cars and boats. Fishing photos and travel photos. Bathroom selfies and gym selfies. "No drama" was fairly common.
Drivel about long walks holding hands or some variation thereof was in most of them. That is them saying what they think women want to hear. The angry "no drama" guy is who they really are. If that's in their profile it's because they cause drama by being bastards and blame their partners for reacting as any self respecting person would to their behaviour.
OLD profiles are quite psychologically revealing.

That is a very very difficult situation. Obviously you have nothing but the utmost sympathy for someone who is a paraplegic but it must have been awkward and uncomfortable for everyone concerned.
Generally the men's strategy seems to be to misrepresent themselves in order to get you to meet them, I presume they think that they will then be able to win you over 🤷🏻‍♀️
