Malnourished starving children in Gaza

babyproblems · 26/07/2025 06:42

The photos that appeared this morning on my news updates of mothers holding their children, dying of starvation and extreme malnutrition in Gaza have absolutely broken my heart. I am not particularly news focused, of course I’ve followed it all but this morning it has stopped me in my tracks and took my breath away. As a mother of a 3yo DS who is sleeping peacefully in his bedroom, whilst we have a fridge full of food downstairs and a life of peace, I feel so sorry that those poor mothers and children are living this hell so undeserved and also so so lucky we have the peace we do…
I don’t really know what the point of my post is; I suppose I’m screaming When Will This End inside and want to tell everyone to not take the freedom and peace we have for granted; use your right to vote and use your privilege to make informed choices that steer the world away from conflict towards peace…

Sending a handhold to all the mothers’ whose lives are not being lived in peace and whose children are suffering 🕊️💔

You find all Palestinians scary and frightening? Even the starving children? Even the women? Even the doctors raped to death, or the 5 year old shot hundreds of times with her family dead around her? You’re scared and frightened of all those Palestinians?

Scary doesn’t just mean physical threat. It is also ideologies in heads.

59,000 murdered and they're the ones getting worse?

Are these numbers reported by Hamas? 😶

Not sure starving babies have much time for developing any particular ideologies. A neat way of othering an entire group though, I’d be impressed if I didn’t find your line of thinking so repugnant.

Doctors without Borders are lying, aid agencies lying, reporters lying, do you believe they are all secret hamas supporters?

The men in media reports with their bowls out at food stations look like holocaust victims to me.

Is reputable news stations using false pictures too?

They really really dont look anything like holocaust survivors, for goodness sake, what planet are you on?

The narrative can be whatever aligns with your thoughts and feelings, as apposed to the hard facts, yes people are suffering from malnutrition but this is not just Israels fault.

thepariscrimefiles · 31/07/2025 13:38

So you don't believe that any of the children in Gaza are starving?

Are you actually saying that every single photo of starving children shown on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky News, the Guardian, the Times and even the Daily Express are from other countries and other conflicts?

You are a conspiracy theorist and should be ignored.

Be questioning. Ask yourself where these images have come from. The only people in Gaza right now are the Israelis and Hamas. As I have repeatedly stated Hamas are winning the propaganda war. There are numerous videos of families filming their "starvation" and the retakes are frankly Oscar worthy.
There isn't enough food getting distributed but it is there in Gaza. But whilst Hamas insist that they are involved in distribution, this isn't going to improve. Hamas are aware of this and know that it goes in their favour for Gazans to be starved/die. You are playing right into their hands.

Credible source for what? I've already provided reports from aid agencies, the UN and various papers.

The UN are totally infiltrated by Hamas. Have you googled UNWRA schools to see what "education" they put out? Several of those terrorists involved in October 7th were UNWRA members.

Some absolutely damming statistics and evidence from the guardian this morning; claiming Israel has deliberately calculated the famine over several months.

Good to see this week at last some pressure mounting in the US on Trump to take a stronger stance… I hope there is some action soon.. it will be too late for many but this must end.

The mathematics of starvation: how Israel caused a famine in Gaza

Israel controls the flow of food into Gaza. It has calculated how many calories Palestinians need to stay alive. Its data shows only a fraction has been allowed in

I posted that earlier. It's pointless. There are posters on here who are acting like bots, trying to flood the site with misinformation. Don't engage with them.

So you can't even muster any sympathy for dead, maimed and starving children? Do you find them scary and frightening?

What about the Irgun, a Zionist paramilitary organisation operating between 1931 and 1948? This organisation committed acts of terrorism against Palestinian Arabs, as well as against the British authorities, who were regarded as illegal occupiers. In particular the Irgun was described as a terrorist organisation by the United Nations, British, and United States governments. They blew up public places too.

Your dehumanising descriptions of all Palestinians, not just Hamas, is similar to the dehumanising language used about Jews in Nazi Germany in the 1930s. My Jewish family welcomed an Austrian Jewish child who came to England on the Kindertransport. He stayed in the UK after the war. He spoke about how things changed with the election of Hitler, how the Jewish children were segregated at school and eventually not allowed to go to school at all. They were attacked in the street and the other children were told not to play with them. We all know what this hatred led to.

Yours are the sort of feelings that most people would keep to themselves, but you seem proud of them. Your scepticism and denial of the atrocities being committed by the IDF in Gaza remind me of the abhorrent views and theories spouted by Holocaust deniers.

Thread immediately infested with genocide deniers, well versed in deflect, deny, distract tactics whenever anyone tried to call them out on their crazy. You're on the wrong side of history and I hope it hurts when the penny finally drops.

Does anyone really believe that if it was the Jewish community that was dispossessed (rather than Palestinians), it would just lie down in a corner like a wounded dog? It wouldn’t fight back? Every community has more militant and extremist sections, so for sure, some in the Jewish community would resort to violence if they had lost their land and homes in the way Palestinians did. We would probably have exactly the same conflict but with the party in power and the party being controlled swapped.

No babies should be suffering on either side - that's the only moral narrative.

Do you have actual evidence that these beheadings occurred that you can link to? A n internet search indicates that this was an assertion that has never actually been corroborated. Even the Israeli government has not categorically stated it happened, although it did nothing to prevent the assertion being repeated.

I totally agree - those poor Palestinian children.

Hamas have done horrendous things but the Israeli government is not the good guy.

And killed people. And the leader of the Irgun, Menachem Begin, later became Prime Minister of Israel. Then there was the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin and the Cave of the Patriarchs massacre both carried out by Jewish extremists. But it’s only Hamas terrorism and violence that counts apparently.

Plus the actions of settlers in the West Bank, terrorising the Palestinian people in an effort to get them to leave so they can seize their land.
