Not really seen anyone do a thread like this so share your funny moments. This can be anything, Wether it's a guest interview that was funny say the guest said something that made the presenters laugh or a funny song the presenters did or anytihng else. Let me know what it was, and when it was

Me too, the funny characters writing letters, Chuffer etc. Janet and John made me cry laughing, I always remember the first time I heard Pastor Kidneys 😂

I used to listen to Terry Wogan when I was in my first year at uni, '78. I was miserable for a while...Wogan got me through.

The Janet And John stories read by the late, great Terry Wogan.
There were so many and many of them quite near the knuckle but my word, they were just sooooo funny.🤣
I was often driving when he read them out and if possible I would pull over so I could enjoy them. You would always see other drivers laughing and you just knew they were also tuned into R2.
Have all the CD's (released to support Children In Need) and still play them from time to time as they are so great.

Was never a TOGG (too young back then) but wish the great man was still around as the current offerings on R2 are unlistenable.
Are now firmly tuned into GHR.

I was a TOGG, I went to three TOGG conventions. People who didn't go were never quite sure if they were real or TW made them up (like so much else!).

I met Tel, Pauly Walters, Frank Odfrey, Boggy Marsh.....I can't recall the "name" of the other guy!

I know, and am FB friends with, the person who write the Janet and John stuff.

On a Belfast radio show they have kids on weekday mornings telling jokes. Today's kid said:
Q 'What do you call an Irish spider'?
A 'Paddy long legs'

The presenters didn't know whether to laugh or not and it was all very awkward. I being Irish thought it was hilarious but being NI everything is political & they probably received complaints 😆

Sanding Toksvig absolutely losing it on Sorry I Haven't A Clue when Humph talks about Lionel Blair and the Gentleman of Verona.

Cabin Pressure.

But on a more regular basis Pete and Geoff when they were on Virgin Radio. Geoff totally sure he'd managed to get Paul McCartney to sing Geoff instead of Jet. Their phone ins. Pete just getting mad at Geoff.

Chris Moyles and Dominic Burns breakfast show on Radio X now - regularly make me smile very hard. They’re such a good team.

@BlueEyedBogWitch yes ! Their songs “going to a poo poo party boom boom” inspired by Adam’s little boy …😂 I saved it somewhere. Brilliant drum and bass ! Good radio fun 🤩

Greg James honestly makes me laugh everyday. Chris Moyles could be funny but sadly is also a misogynistic bully.

Terry Wogan was so funny on his breakfast show especially when he read the Janet & John stories. I used to laugh all the way to work.
