Just been away for a weekend with a male friend. During one conversation we got on about sex somehow, and he said he thought anything less than a two hour session is a waste of time.

Good for him I suppose, but AIBU to think the majority of people would find this far too long and start planning their dinner?

Before anyone says he’s trying to impress me or get me into bed, he’s not.

I'm laughing. I live in North Yorkshire, near the early warning system. Many years ago (when we were all young) I said to a couple, who were good friends, if the early warning sounds (ie 4 minutes) can I borrow your man as as last hurrah? He laughed and said, 4 minutes? Sex with foreplay included, yes. Straight up intercourse for an hour, no. That's only possible if he has erectile dysfunction. Most of the time a quickie is enough for us to both be satisfied.

There's nothing wrong with a long session but it shouldn't be expected. For starters many people might need sleep, food, or might have responsibilities meaning a five minute bunk up is all they can fit into their day!
