To think a two hour sesh sounds hellish?

Just been away for a weekend with a male friend. During one conversation we got on about sex somehow, and he said he thought anything less than a two hour session is a waste of time.

Good for him I suppose, but AIBU to think the majority of people would find this far too long and start planning their dinner?

Before anyone says he’s trying to impress me or get me into bed, he’s not.

I simply don’t have 2 hour window in my week

faceclothsapien · 19/07/2025 20:16

Some men think: women like foreplay. Hours of foreplay: stud.

NoSoupForU · 19/07/2025 20:17

2hrs start to end including foreplay and teasing isn't that extreme, surely?! I can happily spend a day shagging on and off. No children, so perhaps that makes all the difference?

whispycloud · 19/07/2025 20:19

I would die.

Anything more than 10 mins is a waste of time. My husband and I can get the job done in about 5 mins usually start to end (we both finish quickly!)

Honestly I would not have it any other way.

Gosh. Why do people make such a fuss about sex, and why does it cause so many marital arguments and breakdowns when it's all over in 5 to 10 minutes?

JMSA · 19/07/2025 20:22

Fuck that, no way.

MyWarmOchreHare · 19/07/2025 20:25

Kjpt140v · 19/07/2025 18:28

Separate rooms?

Yes, this time, but I’ve been away with him before and stayed in the same room. Why?

It does 😁

Don’t post on mumsnet then if you have no ability to hear different views!

Comprehension remains as lacking as ever.

Ye Gods!!!! yanbu.... pull my nightie down when you're done!

Whattimes · 19/07/2025 20:51

Just to give you a laugh 🤣 I was thinking you meant a drinking sesh by reading the title.

PaulRevere · 19/07/2025 21:06

Love a long session. Not PIV for two hours obviously, but general appreciation as well as fucking, yes lovely. My bf once went down on me for an hour 😂 I usually tapped out before him, but that time he did actually give up, and we looked at the time because it had been ages!

I don't think anything less is a waste though. Anything from a quickie up is good in my book.

TheLastOfTheMohicans · 19/07/2025 21:13

Does he always get hours and minutes mixed up?

Weepixie · 19/07/2025 21:18

@ThatCyanCat, thank you. I’d no idea.

An hour!! Not sure to take from that that he was very good or very bad.

in the 2 hours he’s probably included the 116 minute post sex cuddle

I think he's hoping you'll want him to prove his BS.

Nikki75 · 19/07/2025 21:42

I couldn't be doing with that.. is this why he is single .
It's not normal or desirable .
It's because it takes him that long to get there honestly he might be lovely but that would be a problem for most I think .

Advert break and end credits, that'll do.

Nah he's had long term, serious girlfriends, and none of them have ended because of this.

MyWarmOchreHare · 19/07/2025 16:22

Of course he's not reading it.

Are you so dense that you can’t see any reason as to why every man might not be trying to pull every woman they speak to?

When a bloke is not testing the waters for getting in your knickers, he tends not to go on about his 2 hour stamina fest.

You said he knows about the thread, he is aware we’re talking about his alleged sexual prowess. He’s reading it, hence the cool girl act.

Are you always so dense that you think I was referring to all men as opposed to this “stud”?

Flannelfeet · 19/07/2025 21:55

Maybe he thinks he is sting and into that tantric pish? 🤣

What are you talking about? Cool girls acts are around being okay with their boyfriends doing things, are they not? Not about talking to your mate.

Honestly, he’s really not scouring Mumsnet seeing if he can find a thread about himself. I doubt he’d remember its name.

He has not ‘gone on’ about it. He’s mentioned it once in 15 years. What a bizarre way you think.
